Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Ca du Sulfar

Se cerchi un paese soleggiato, immerso nel verde, tranquillo, rilassante e lontano dal traffico di tutti i giorni: Spoccia è il paese ideale (altezza 800 mt) Spoccia si trova in Valle Cannobina a soli 13 km dal Lago Maggiore dove si trova Cannobio (con il caratteristico mercato della domenica mattina ) e dalla Val Vigezzo (detta anche Valle dei Pittori) Cà du Sulfar si trova a pochi passi dal parcheggio percorrendo la caratteristica via principale costruita tutta in piode. Completamente ristrutturata 2 anni fa, particolare attenzione è stata data al soffitto in travi a vista, alla veranda per consumare una prima colazione con la magnifica vista sulla valle e alla scala in legno che conduce al piano superiore. Cà du Sulfar è costruita su due piani: al primo piano cucina a vista con forno tradizionale e a microonde , salotto con camino e un piccolo ripostiglio con lavatrice. Dalla scala in legno si accede alla veranda con un micro museo di attrezzi tradizionali di Spoccia. Al piano superiore si trovano le due camere da letto (una matrimoniale e l’altra con due letti singoli) e il bagno finestrato con doccia. Poiché a Spoccia non ci sono negozi è consigliabile raggiungere il paese con una buona scorta di generi alimentari e non alimentari. Il giovedì pomeriggio (circa alle 14:30) è possibile acquistare frutta e verdura da un venditore ambulante direttamente al parcheggio; sempre al giovedì in mattinata è anche presente un servizio di bus che raggiunge Cannobio con rientro verso mezzogiorno Da Spoccia partono diversi sentieri che conducono ad alpeggi e punti panoramici Si posso effettuare gite/escursioni giornaliere a Verbania , per visitare il fantastico parco di Villa Taranto , Stresa con i suoi alberghi in stile Liberty, da dove si possono effettuare visite alle Isole Borromeo , Orta San Giulio, dalla magica atmosfera medievale Dalle stazioni di Verbania e Stresa sono comodamente raggiungibili in treno Milano e Novara

At the entrance we find the kitchen with a fireplace and a living room with a breathtaking view of the valley. On the 1st floor below, which can be reached both from an external door on the public street and from the inside with a wooden staircase we find a double bedroom with a bed for children and a bathroom with a large shower. On the 2nd floor, which you can reach from a door on the public street, we find a bedroom with a double sofa bed. You can also spend time in the garden

Casa Valle Cannobina (Cannobina Valley House)

The House is divided into two areas, "living area" and "sleeping area". The "living area", located on the ground floor, consists of the entrance, living room, kitchen-dining area, bathroom and a small storage room. The "sleeping area", located on the First Floor, consists of two connecting rooms with a shared entrance, for a total of 5 beds and a balcony with a view. Externally, there is a terrace for the exclusive use of the house, where you can relax and enjoy the view.
