Family-friendly vacation rentals in Spielberg

The only negative thing about our stay was that it was just way too short;) We enjoyed the time incredibly! There were no wishes left unfulfilled and Gerald welcomed us very warmly as a host. The surroundings are just awesome, whether hiking in the hills behind the house or chilling by the lake or paddling with the rowboat or, or, or... just beautiful!

We enjoyed the chalet very much. Milena waited for us on arrival and greeted us very kindly with a schnapps. She and Jernej also supported us very well during the stay with tips on activities and questions. The amenities are very good, everything is available, e.g. bed linen and towels - you didn't miss anything. The chalet is beautifully located as a single building in the forest and is therefore pleasantly quiet - only street noises from the nearby road and noises from the heating, which constantly starts, are clearly audible As a starting point for hikes in the beautiful nature, the house is very well located. Highlights for us were the pool and the location in the forest - highly recommended.

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and really has everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - there we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

There were six of us in the beautiful wooden vacation home. It is quietly located about 400 meters above the village of Haus in the Enns Valley. To the rear, the house is located on a meadow and the edge of the forest. Hiking trails pass by a few hundred meters away. An enclosure with fallow deer adjoins. The nearest supermarket Billa is about 7 minutes' drive away in the house. The house are beautifully comfortably furnished. There is a fireplace, sauna and hot tub (to heat yourself). All this gave us a lot of pleasure. The place is ideal for those who seek tranquility and like to be in nature. Communication with Mirko was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. We'll be back. Thank you for everything.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay. Make sure you make use of the bikes provided by the host, they are great for getting around the area!

Wonderful host and a beautiful place – it had everything we could have wished for. The lake was especially stunning; we loved spending time swimming and taking boat trips. Highly recommended!

The house is very cozy and perfect for an outdoor / fitness vacation. The gym is well equipped and the sauna offers the perfect relaxation option. Angelika and Jürgen are super friendly and accommodating, check-in and check-out were smooth and communication very fast and always warm. We especially liked the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. All in all, definitely highly recommended!

Very well planned accommodation with pleasant interior, everything necessary and a beautiful view of the mountains. A large number of attractions nearby. I recommend it without hesitation and will come back when I get the chance.

We spent wonderful days in Marušas apartment. Unfortunately, we couldn't meet Maruša in person, but her father was always there for us. The apartment is very cozy and comfortable. We used the sauna especially often. The area is very idyllic and quiet. It invites you to take wonderful walks. In the neighboring towns there are some good restaurants, especially in Bled it is good to linger. We definitely give it a 5⭐️!

The cabin was amazing, Mita is a great host and checks you in and shows you to the cabin which was helpfull as we arrived in the evening it was dark and would have been more difficult if he didn't guided us. The rooms within the cabin were extreamly comfortable and both bedrooms had a balcony which gave outstanding views of the mountains around. This is the perfect location if you enjoy hiking or walking as there are many trails and mountains that's can be hiked. It is an extremely peaceful area, I would highly recommend.

Very lovely place, perfect for couples. Maybe not ideal for summer months as there is no air conditioning and the apartment is on the top floor. Good location, there is public transport nearby. Enjoyed my time there.

The accommodation was very nice, original and cozy. You feel like you are part of nature, the surroundings are quiet and really suitable for a stay with small children. Samy is very hospitable and communication with him was pleasant.

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

Loved the view and the nature around the place

Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. Robert's communication before arrival was quick and he was there to show us around the apartment at check-in. The apartment itself was neat and very clean. My kids enjoyed the fact that the whole family could sleep together in one room. I enjoyed the fact that even though this is a smaller sized apartment, everyone had an actual bed! Robert was very kind and gave helpful tips. He even called a friend in the know when we asked about the closure over the mountain pass to give us the most accurate information. Great two night stay for our family here. Thanks, Robert!

Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help.
