Casa Vives is a hidden gem in Ischia! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The apartment was clean, spacious and conveniently located near the bus stop connecting you Forio & beyond. Supermarket across the road, 15 minute walk to the beach & great pizza restaurant next door. Definitely recommend!

The place:Large 1 floor flat with large bathroom & large outside terrace. Super sunset view.Close by car/bus to groceries, pasticceria, beaches, geysers, monuments. The location:200 meters from main island circular road with both sides bus stops and 10 min drive from downtown Forio with shops & restaurants. Gaetano & family:one of the most caring host.Will provide references if asked.Best rabbit:Taverna Verde,best seafood:LaBella Napoli, best fish:La Tinaia, best wine bar:Pietratorcia. Jeff and Alessandro are excellent hosts: super friendly, responsive and kind. They took very good care of us and went beyond our expectations. The house is exactly like the photos show and the Mediterranean, communal and peaceful garden was a lovely surprise; just like the cake and coffee they offered us on Easter Day. Forio has lots to offer and we had the best time on our scooter. Go to the lighthouse for aperitivo, relax in Poseidon and dine at Lisola. We had a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely come back one day because there is so much to do and our time there was limited. See you!
