Vacation rentals in Spiaggia della Plaia

We had a wonderful time at Marias and Jasons home. The apartment is very well and tastefully equipped and has everything one needs. Maria helped a lot, by advising us beautiful places and cities to go to. They have a huge garden and our kids loved to play with their dogs. Especially the Digby became a familiy member straight away. We had a great time in Sicily and would love to come back. Thanks a lot.

The house was perfect for our visit to the Catania area. All 3 bedrooms were clean, air conditioned, and spacious with private baths. The pictures in the listing show exactly what you can expect. The outside patio and porch areas are beautiful and great for enjoying a morning coffee and evening beverage. Marco worked with us to accommodate an early check-in. He promptly responded to all of our requests and concerns. The house is gated so privacy and security was not a concern.

Mon épouse, mes deux enfants et moi-même avons été accueillis par Domenico. Il a été très accueillant, a pris le temps de nous donner les instructions et à été proactif (recommandations, infos supplémentaires concernant le logement…) tout le long du séjour pour que nous vivions une belle expérience. Le logement est spacieux et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour une famille. Enfin, le logement est très bien placé pour rayonner dans la zone et aller à Taormine, l’Etna, Catane ou Syracuse. En bref, je recommande :-).

The apartment is spacious for 4 people, with 2 separate bedrooms, a living room, and 3 (!) balconies. There is a good washing machine indeed. The kitchen has everything including a microwave, a toaster, kitchenware and an oven, excepting only a dishwasher and a coffee maker. There were soluble coffee and olive oil and many spices for cooking available. There are 3 big groceries and a few bakeries nearby. We could even pre-order fresh "cornetti con pistacchio" to pick them up the next day. They also offer a delivery to the apartment :-) Near the building or on the street we were always able to find a free parking space, without any issues to (our anyway insured) car. There are two AC systems in every bedroom, capable of both heating and cooling. The host was very friendly and helpful. He even met us personally. Just if you don't know Italian, be sure to use a translator. Location is 10-15 minutes of driving from the Piazza Maravigna (free parking) or airport. Thanks Christopher!

L'appartamento è molto spazioso, estremamente pulito, curato nei più piccoli particolari e dotato di tutto il necessario per una piacevole permanenza. Il bagno è di ampie dimensioni con un'eccezionale doccia, la sala/cucina è ben attrezzata e la camera da letto molto luminosa. Completa il tutto un piccolo giardino con area relax e dondolo con vista mare. Sebastiano e suo fratello si sono dimostrati più che ospitali, consentendoci il check in in tarda serata nonostante lo scarsissimo preavviso ed accogliendoci con una graditissima bottiglia di vino e dolci della zona; sempre pronti a fornite utili consigli e tutto il supporto richiesto. L'alloggio si trova in una zona molto tranquilla a pochi passi dal grazioso lungomare di Aci Trezza, in posizione strategica per visitare rinomate località: Etna, Taormina, gole di Alcantara a meno di un'ora di distanza

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Ich bin gemeinsam mit einer Freundin gereist und wir hatten den gesamten Gartenbereich, den Pool, sowie die Küche für 7 Tage nur für uns. Wir haben uns ein Auto gemietet und konnten dieses auch im Hof parken. Der Ort Monterosso ist nicht sehr touristisch, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat um einen Einblick in das Leben der Einheimischen zu erhalten. Zu dem Zimmer kann ich nur sagen, dass es sehr ordentlich und alles notwendige vorhanden war. Das einzige was man wissen sollte ist, dass das Bett etwas hart ist. Ansonsten war wirklich alles super. Der Aufenthalt hat uns super erholt und sehr gut gefallen.

If you want/need wifi and privacy, this place might not be for you. There is no wifi in the apartment. I was able to make calls and do a bit of work outside, when it wasn’t raining. The unit shares a thin wall with another airbnb, so you can hear them clearly. Having said that, this is an absolutely beautiful location for a holiday! Floriana and Mario are wonderful, responsive people. The place was clean. The view is stellar.
