A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

The barn is secluded and views from the rest of the house are of fields and woodland surrounding the property. By May 2022 we will have finished installing the new deck which will give the perfect spot to soak up the sun or take a cool dip. Gather around the fire pit at night to keep warm whilst having drinks or toasting marshmallows.

The Potting Shed is a fabulous space to spend time with family and friends. With easily access to footpaths local beaches and historic sites such as Battle Abbey, Herstmoneux Castle , Hasting Old Town, Bodium Castle etc.The Potting Shed has its own self contained garden (fenced) so well-behaved dogs are more than welcome. Built in 1868 the property was completely renovated in 2013 and now boasts 3 luxurious bedrooms, a massive 60ft by 40ft living room (complete with fully working bowling alley), a huge dining table for 14 guests and a secret cinema room.

A High Street full of independent shops, restaurants, inns, art galleries, Kino cinema, Rye Spa Retreat, tea rooms are round the cobbly corner.

Visitor parking available opposite the property making this ideal for guests who need their own vehicle to explore beyond Eastbourne. The area is quiet and residential and house is set behind the road giving a bit more privacy for the small garden which is to the front of the property. Please note, there is no back garden.

The Yard Rye

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.
