We (a family with a young daughter) stayed four nights at Sebastiano’s place and had a wonderful time. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very spacious (even larger than expected from the photos), and the balcony and terrace offer stunning views of Lake Lugano. Gandria is a charming, picturesque village with a few nice places to eat. The bus and boat stations are just a short walk away, and there are lovely paths for hiking and strolling. We don’t have a car and got around entirely with public transport — it takes a little planning but works very well. Sebastiano was a great host — very easy to communicate with and proactive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Staying with Matteo was the perfect choice. The apartment is spacious,clean, andwell-equipped. Matteo was very helpful, responding quickly to our messages. Outside, there is a place and all the equipment for a barbecue and, most importantly, a parking space under the house. Great location. You can visit the beautiful Lago Maggiore,and Como is only 1 hour away. I recommend it with all my heart!

Very good stay with Rossana and Roberto. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped (good quality bedding too). Quiet while having quick access to areas to visit. Absolutely beautiful view!!! And for access by car to the rental: yes it is narrow on the last meters but quite doable. A big thank you to Rossana for our exchanges: messages always very friendly and always available if needed.

We spent NYE at Nathalie's place, and it was simply magical. The apartment is wonderful, and that view breathtaking, especially at sunrises. Natahlie has been an amazing host, we did not have a car, and she came picking us up at Arona and drove us to the apartment. Superb experience, highly recommended!

It is a very cozy country house in the middle of the mountains on a small winery. We immediately fell in love with this location. The view of the mountains, Lake Maggiore hidden behind palm trees and pampas grass and the Verzasca dam is sensational. It was clean and there was everything you need. A bit difficult to find, but thanks to Alberto's accessibility by phone, it went very well. Parking is also available. You have great hiking opportunities, which Alberto sent us as a recommendation. In nearby Gordola you will also find everything you need. We are very happy to come back. Thank you for the great break. Evelyn

Very pleasant stay! Serge was flexible both on arrival time, we were delayed due to traffic jams, as well as with the return time, had to leave earlier than planned. Everything was explained to us, everything was clean and Serge is very friendly and accommodating as well as easily accessible. Again and again :D

They were beautiful days that reinforced the place with this fantastic view of the lake and mountains at all times. Highly recommended. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Had an unforgettable stay. The house is spacious, has everything you need, an extremely well-equipped kitchen, several balconies from which you could look into the beautiful valley and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We felt extremely comfortable and would recommend Casa Ursula to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature. Thank you!

We had a very nice vacation at Maria Antonietta's. We were very warmly welcomed and even the fridge was filled. The apartment is nice and offers plenty of space, the bed was also comfortable. The courtyard is great, you have direct access from all rooms - and our daughter was very happy about the slide :).

We are delighted with our stay during the New Year's period, with the added bonus of fireworks all around the lake visible from the terraces of the house! Catalda is welcoming and hosted us very well. The house is impeccable and well arranged. Nothing is missing. This unique house has a wonderful location with great surroundings. We are a family of 5 and found everything we needed. The house is very well-equipped and there is plenty of space for playing outside. The nice lady from the farm next door showed us her animals and even gave us fresh eggs and Italian Easter-bread. Unfortunately, we had to leave 3 days early due to severe weather warnings and a sick child. We still enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back some day.

Val D'Ossola is beautiful in all seasons and the town where Samantha's house is located is strategic both to move around the surrounding lakes and to visit the Valleys with the wonderful villages rich in history and authenticity.
