We spent 3 nights at Jack’s cottage and it was absolutely perfect for some much needed downtime. Fantastic location, beautiful cosy cottage, the hot tub was a brilliant feature and Matthew was on hand for any questions. The house is spotless, quirky with pops of pink, has available parking and a lovely quiet private garden. The location is fantastic for curbar edge, froggatt and trips to Bakewell and surrounding areas. We decided we’d look to book again before we’d even stayed the first night! Highly recommend this little gem in lovely Derbyshire.

Lia's cottage was really lovely. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and with a great sized garden. The location was peaceful, in a nice little village. Lia was really helpful and communicated well. I'd happily recommend the stay.

Check in was really simple and directions to find the place were spot on. Communication was excellent and we felt that we could contact the owners if we needed to. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider stopping again if visiting the area in the future. The house smelt freshly cleaned when we arrived and was in a peaceful location. It was great to have a small selection of toiletries as well as coffee/tea provided - thank you. Bed linen and towels were clean and smelt lovely.

We have just returned from a stay at The Stables. We both loved the accommodation and the location. The hosts made us feel very welcome and there was some lovely touches inside for when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and tucked away but also within walking distance of several pubs all serving good quality food for reasonable prices. We would recommend and come back again without question.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The setting is beautifully private—perfect for escaping the noise. We were greeted with a welcome package including snacks, a bottle of fizz, and clear instructions. It instantly made us feel at home. One highlight was the Jacuzzi—incredible! It was spotless and ready to go, with soft towels provided. We appreciated the natural shower products, which made the experience feel more luxurious. Communication with the hosts was easy. We were given a direct line and they responded quickly to any questions. The overall vibe of the place was calm and rejuvenating, a true hidden gem. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to nice local shops and restaurants, so you're not far from anything. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our return. Highly recommend this cozy escape—we’ll definitely be back someday.

We were lucky enough to stay at the Nook this weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. Wayne and Dave are so thoughtful with the attention to detail for guests to enjoy and really go the extra mile with thoughtful treats on arrival and ensuring you have everything you need. It really is a little treasure hidden away in the countryside - thank you for having us x

Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

Myself and three friend's stayed at Janes as we wanted to do a motorcycle tour of Derbyshire. The cottage is ideally located for that with off road parking . The cottage it self is lovely and homely. I especially liked the conservatory to sit and relax in. The cottage had everything we needed and jane even provided some basics to get us started on our arrival,milk,bread etc. Jane was friendly, easy to contact, about when you needed her but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our stay. 100% recommend Jane and her cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Blossom Hill. It was perfect! Shaun and Joy are very friendly and gave us loads of good recommendations for walks in the area! It was so peaceful being in the English countryside away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Thank you again!

A beautiful, quaint cottage in an ideal location. We were attending a family wedding at Eyam Hall which was a very short walk from the cottage. The surrounding countryside was stunning and we wished we’d had more time to walk and explore! A wonderful stay. Thank you!

Very walkable location! We stayed here because of chatsworth house and kept saying how much we love the area! The kitchen was stocked with essentials. The stairs were a little steep but nothing we couldn’t handle with a little bit of caution and the railing. Absolutely lovely stay! Thank you!

We were very comfortable at the cottage. It was charming and well equipped. It was ideally situated near to the Castle and the Cathedral. The car parking instructions were clear and easily accessible. There was a parking permit for our car on the street nearby or in an adjacent car park. We would like to return in the future. We have family in Lincoln

Fabulous and exactly as shown and described! Views were amazing and a gorgeous small pub next door where the staff were super friendly and helpful. Fantastic walks! Especially the arduous Bank Road into town!! Good for ones heart and legs! Great area to be and our home for the weekend was amazing! Loved it and would stay there again

The Old Chapel is a perfect escape from the busy pace of life. It’s cozy, full of character, and surrounded by beautiful, peaceful gardens that make you feel right at home. We planned to explore the Peak District but ended up spending two relaxing days just enjoying the cottage and its surroundings. Host Sarah’s artistic touch is evident in every corner. Well-equipped and welcoming—highly recommended for couples and families.

We’ve just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Petra’s property. The house was very clean, beds comfy and had loads of stuff for a baby/toddler which was very helpful! We would have loved to stay longer in this elegant, historic but fully modernized rural retreat. By some quirk of Airbnb booking we got it for one night only but it was like coming home. The garden alone made our short stay enchanting. It could not have been better.

Such an amazing place with all elements beautiful crafted to create a warm and inviting space. Had the best stay here, with such a responsive and informative host !! Wish we could’ve stayed longer as we felt right at home. Everything was so well thought out and with the best intentions as well, Tupperware, a thermos, large brollies etc etc The most enchanting place !! <3

My wife and I, along with my sister and brother in law spent a perfect 4 day break in this idylic haven of peace and tranquility. Caroline's communication, from acknowledging our initial booking, to providing perfect directions prior to arrival; through to the excellent folder containing multiple food, beverage and outing options in the area was superb. The accomodation lived up to all prior positive customer feedback, being both spotlessly clean and also providing home like levels of creature comfort. We have told family and friends if they're looking to visit the Peak District there is only one place to stay and this is it! Congratulations on being a "Super Host" Caroline. No doubt hard earned, but very deserving of the accolade.

John is a very good host with useful tips and good company together with Judiith. The cottage is lovely and the garden is absolutely stunning. Well-situated in the Peak District.

We had a lovely few nights staying at the Hayloft. Tania is lovely and gave us some great recommendations of where to go. The apartment is great, very spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. Can’t forget her adorable cat who stopped by to visit us! We’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay here. Made a short weekend into a relaxing break. With access to a car, this a great stay for a nice private cottage near all the historic locations of Derbyshire. Gorgeous communal area fit for family board games and wine by the fire. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay in Bakewell. John and Moira were wonderful, so very friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome. The cottage was perfect with the gas fire, only minutes away from the town centre on foot. There was plenty to do with Hadden Hall just a few minutes away. Can’t wait to come back!
