My wife, Raechel, and I originally designed and built this ADU ( accessory dwelling unit ) with the intention of living there full time, but due to a change of plans, it's available to you. The space was designed by Buckenmeyer Architecture, and was constructed by me. Our space features many unique elements such as: burnt cedar siding, 16' multi-slide window wall (please open and close slowly), and moveable cedar slat screens/ We hope you enjoy the space and neighborhood as much as we do!

We've dubbed this stunning, fully detached studio the "Lighthouse" because of the way natural light pours through the 550-square-foot studio's many windows and dances off its walls and vaulted ceilings. Oak St. Cottage with outdoor cedar sauna is a newly renovated urban oasis centrally located in Southeast Portland just steps from Restaurant Row, Whole Foods, Tri-Met Bus and Laurelhurst Park. Set back from the main house, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the modern cottage offers easy access to all Portland has to offer.
