Vacation rentals with a kayak in South-Western FInland

We came here as a group after biking from Turku and we had an amazing time. Olena was friendly and extremely helpful, helped us preparing the grill and with other smaller needs. The house was beautiful and cozy and the surroundings also. Sitting on the porch,you are surrounded by woods and you can see the main house. There also is a beach very close by. We all wished we could have staid longer and if we have the chance might return. Thank you for having us!

A gem of a place. Pikku-Itävalta, located on the shore of Lake Jämijärvi, was perfect for our group. Enough space and a private beach crowned the weekend. Great saunas. The kitchen was well-equipped, everything you needed was there and there are plenty of dishes. Easily accessible activities were the best for us. From the cottage you can hike right from the door to the forest and from the lake to paddle. Canoes can be rented from a local company for the lake. A big recommendation for this gem of a cottage.

Wonderful place and you will be impressed. Only thing that would make it even more amazing would be not have to share the dock / sauna / jacuzzi with the neighboring building in 2 hour shifts. It destroys the spontaneity of a vacation and heating up the sauna takes forever so it might not be even super hot once you start and then you may have 30min left in your 2 hour slot

We have booked Timo's house a couple of days before our stay. Timo was very responsive which gave us the calmness we are set for the trip. Timo met us upon our arrival and gave us a detailed explanation about the arrival and the house. We spent a week at the amazing house where you can find all you need. Beautiful lake, the boat the canoe and a comfortable house. We did not have a chance to use the sauna so we are already planning to come back for more. I would definitely recommend Timo as a host and Timo's villa as a great place to stay.

We stopped here at the end of our road trip and the only thing we regretted was that we didn't know about this place before. The house itself is beautiful and you can see that Katarina puts her whole heart into this place. It is beautiful, it smells beautiful from the entrance, and the rooms are equipped as in a hotel (towels, warm slippers and even freshly picked flowers by the bed!) Cleanliness and care for all the necessary things definitely 10/10. We forgot to check if there was an oven in the cottage, but we immediately got information that a few minutes from the cottage there was a beach with a barbecue area, where we prepared our salmon :D We went, of course, by bikes, which are available on site. In the evening, a very nice surprise was waiting for us, but it is worth checking out for yourself:) I cannot imagine a better end to our trip to Finland! 💛 PS. This is definitely a paradise for fans of Moomins:)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tiina's place! The house was very cozy and full of inspiring details. Tiina offered to heat up the sauna in the evening which delighted us very much. Tiina was very warm and friendly, and the breakfast she prepared was amazing! We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Tiina's place and hope to revisit someday!

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

No words for how wonderful this place was, but I’ll try. The cabin has its own sweet little beach and is extremely private without being cut off from people should you require it. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene paradise. The main cabin has everything you need for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Wood fire is great. Lots of staple food stuff in the pantry. Comfy bed and couch. Sauna/chill out cabin nicely done. Roomy sauna. Hot water. Comfy chairs. Outhouse toilet very easy to use, and so quaintly decorated. It’s adorable. Malin was a fabulous host. She even took us hunting for mushrooms so we would know what to eat and where to find good ones. Excellent hints also about how to view the northern lights. The setting is idyllic. We spent 4 days relaxing here and thought it was heaven. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Definitely highly recommended and thanks so much Malin for your thoughtful touches and for being such a great host.

Family of 4 visiting from Estonia, and we had a truly magical weekend at this fantastic cabin! It’s perfectly located right on a beautiful and peaceful lake. During the day, we took the rowboat out to explore the water, and in the evenings we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub—such a treat. We also made homemade pizzas in the gas pizza oven and toasted marshmallows over the firepit, which was a lovely way to end the day. The cabin is exactly as described—cozy, clean, and well-equipped—and in our opinion, it offers excellent value. We really hope to come back one day!

The cottage was clean and in a beautiful location. The sauna had good steam and it was great to watch the sunset from your own terrace. Flexible check-in and check-out. We were really happy with everything. Recommended!

The location of the cottage is in the middle of a peaceful countryside – just the right place to get away from everyday life. The sheep grazing in the adjacent field created a wonderful rural idyllic atmosphere. The cottage itself was very clean and perfectly equipped – everything you needed was there. The sauna cottage provided excellent saunas, and while relaxing in the nude, you could listen to the birds singing in the middle of nature. The barbecue hut was also neat. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs peace and nature. We'll definitely be happy to come back!

The cottage is located beautifully! We had a nice plunge in the frozen lake after our sauna. The cottage is nicely decorated, with ample of space for a big family. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely little cabin on a lake with clean water! The cottage corresponded well with the introduction and our wishes. Messaging with your host was straightforward. I didn't miss the cottage equipment:) I'll definitely be renting again!

The cottage is in a quiet place. Although there is a lot of life there; the birds, the rocks, the sea. But no people, no boats. You can be there in peace and quiet. We enjoyed our days there!

We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautifully cabin. It was a perfect set up for my young 3 children, they loved playing in the lake and on the little beach, and were kept occupied with all the toys. Whole we enjoyed relaxing evenings in the most incredible lakeside sauna. The cabin is so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever needed. We loved smoking our own fish for lunch. Thank you Reijo and Marja, we do hope tonreturn.
