Vacation rentals with lake access in South Toledo Bend

Been staying in rental on Toledo Bend for the past 20 years. Mr. Dolphe's set up was was one of the best thus far. Great location in the mid-lake area, just a few minutes for Toledo Town and several boat launches. Clean, quiet, and secure spot for those towing along their boat for their fishing getaway!

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

nice and quiet. older trailer well kept. 3 window units kept tbe place comfortable. Linda new we had kids with us and even brought us an extra little cot. Great screened in porch.

Loved, loved, loved this place!! Peaceful and relaxing setting!! Great size to get your large family away and still have the comforts of home. Back screened in porch was wonderful for game night or just rocking in the chairs! Will definitely keep this as a little get away space in the future. We love this house. It is a beautifull home and very spacious. It looks just like the photos and have never been disappointed. Cathy has always been very responsive. The neighborhood is very quiet and a great place to see some amazing homes that are 100 yrs old and still beautiful.

A great peaceful getaway at a lovely place! Felt at home and had everything we needed. Amy is very responsive, helpful, and friendly! Def recommend and would stay here again!

Mark was super helpful & thoughtful! He is very committed to satifiction for his guests. The entire property from bathroom & beds, fishing access and property, blackstone to patio, was very well put together! This property & host is 1 of a kind. Very humble and friendly. Mark was very generous with his efforts and services as a host. I have had less enjoyable stays @ many of the surrounding lake parks! My wife and 2 kids enjoyed the entire weekend enough to hope that we can book 4 stays each summer. We are local & have many experiences from Air BnB, to VRBO & local parks & cabins. This place is #1, hands down! He includes snacks in the fridge & freezer, soft drinks and waters, first aid kit on site, paddle board & canoe available to enjoy @ no cost! Property located waterfront with a quiet neighborhood & awesome house cleaning preparations in place. Our cabin was cool & ready & clean as a whistle! Any rental is only as good as its host! Such a great place to stay, that we came back! The location is perfect and the views are amazing! Love that we can park our boat out front and the kids could swim. The kayaks and the hot tub were a plus! Highly recommend staying at Outer Banks!

Great private location, and beautiful Cove. Cottage was clean, cute and comfortable! The decor is nostalgic and takes you back to enjoy good feelings of days gone by. The dock is wobbly, but being repaired after storm damage! good for fishing right at the waters edge. Nice neighbors and surroundings. Recommend this if you’re looking for private, peaceful, relaxing location, and great access to fishing. John is a great host! Very friendly, Communicating promptly and very helpful with all of our needs.

It was a great stay the beds where comfortable she had movies we could watch and good overall I would just say ask which one is your cabin number and keybox code before you arrive

Stayed here for a family reunion. The house was great for our needs. The 2 full baths were nice. We each had our own bathroom. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Beds were comfortable. As listed, there is no WiFi, however the cell service was great. I had no problems uploading or downloading videos. I was able to live stream YouTube for karaoke with just the cell service. Overall a pleasant stay.

The cozy cottage was just as it says cozy and just like home! Trish our host was more than Awesome and helped with anything we needed! the cottage was clean,cozy and just out right perfect! the boat house was awesome for fishing off of and storing my boat when I couldn't fish cause of weather keeping it dry. the location is in the perfect spot for some of the best fishing on the lake with out having to Travel far in your boat. the beds were very comfortable along with everything else that you could possibly need. the screened in porch was to die for and we spent alot of time just setting out and looking at the water and scenery all and all it made our 25th anniversary a very special one and we definitely recommend cause we will sure be going back !!

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

Nice place to stay ,quiet ,great back yard space,parking kinda tight especially for boat trailers.

The cabin was extremely clean. There were plenty of towels, dishes, etc. The door was unlocked when we arrived and we were unable to lock it from the outside when we left. I also would have preferred if there were curtains over the windows in the living area. It seemed a little higher than I would have expected for the size and location but it being so clean made me feel a little better about the price. The porch is nice. The check in/out instructions were very clear. The complaints we have are very minor. We would definitely rent again.
