We really enjoyed our stay. The mezzanine net, bean bags, and playstation with Crash Team Racing is something we didn't realise we needed, and the book corner has an excellent selection of books. Downstairs, the massive window overlooking the beach is like an oasis. The shower was excellent and the whole place is very comfortable and homely. We loved the attention to detail. The bed was welcomely comfortable albeit quite creaky. The beach is a gorgeous boulder beach which is nice to stand and look at. The description for the Surf Nest is on point except the WiFi is slow (~3Mbps) and while Netflix etc is installed, guests must use their own accounts. Overall Maria and Matt's place was great and we'd be happy to come again.

Fabulous place for the whole family. New and modern house, comfy with woodburner on cold nights and all the amenities you will need for a relaxing stay. Plus a few extra treats left by the lovely owners:). The outdoor fireplace was an awesome addition on cold starry nights. Kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and the dog loved the huge fenced in yard.

Our stay at Tina and Marg’s mid century mountain home was such a unique and incredibly special part of our trip! Waking up to that view of the mountain, the gorgeous gardens, and the adorable sheep was unlike anything I’ve experienced before! Inside the home, the attention to detail and adorable decor was so fun to look at. Tina and Marg were so accommodating and even left us some treats to feed the sheep, which absolutely made my day! They have mastered the art of hosting. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

When I was choosing accommodation to stay in in the Taranaki area, I considered the weather, if it was to rain or the weather was not the best, we'd like to be staying somewhere cozy at least to make up for it and Ecoscape did not disappoint. It was private. Peaceful. It felt like our own sactuary amidst the recent ex cyclone passing through. We had a glimpse of Mt Taranaki every now and then and it was stunning. I could not get enough of it. Would definitely be back if we are in the area.

Had a wonderful stay in the marvelous cabin with seaview and walking distance to the beach. The interiour is absolutely stunning, besser are comfortable and the fully staffed kitchen , including sharp (!) knives and a fantastic coffee machine an absolute bonus! In total: we loved it!

A beautiful Airbnb with many nice touches from the hosts that made it truly a 5 star stay like the well stocked kitchen with olive oil, spices, proper pots/pans, milk and plunger coffee and high quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Highly recommend!

Beautifully set with park like manicured gardens surrounding, making for a serene outlook from the kitchen. Situated next to owners home, yet completely detached & private. Location would make for a perfect stop over to catch some R&R traveling between north & south, also thoughtfully equipped for longer stays if say working in the area. Well set up with everything you could need, tastefully designed & spotlessly clean & fresh. Check in was a breeze & easy to find with clear instructions, kindly greated by the lovely Tina briefly then left to our privacy. Homely & warm, was the perfect soft landing we needed after a long drive in a storm. With prior arrangement Tina went above and beyond to cater to a special request we had for our stay, gem of a host! I was also extremely touched by Tina's wholesome hospitality even leaving us as our stay was at Easter hot crossed buns and marshmallow eggs, super thoughtful! Couldn't more highly recommend in every way, Thanks again for everything💞

Beautiful place to stay and worth the drive for the peace and quiet. Our kids loved their big spacious comfy beds and so did we. It has everything you need for a quiet getaway. Hosts are super friendly and so are their fur babies. The little touches go a long way, plenty of towels and linen, some fresh eggs, nespresso coffee and some beautifully fresh baked sour dough bread Really felt spoilt and well looked after. Would recommend to everyone!

Place was amazing with everything you could possibly need. We happened to be checking in on our final day of travel and Grant was very helpful and accommodating to allow us to get some of our laundry washed despite it being a bit later in the evening. Very comfortable stay and the animals added a pretty sweet experience unlike many others. Bucky sure is a beautiful animal along with all of the rest. Big thanks to Grant and Tracey for hosting us. Look fwd to future stays and would recommend to others passing through or staying in the area.

Nicci is a 5/5 host very friendly and helpful . She provides a Great stay for young families from the Hot pink exterior to the child fantasy themed bedrooms. There are loads of kids toys and dress-ups. ! The sparkling clean kitchen is set up for light cooking with a well equipped supermarket closeby. Fantastic pressure shower and great drinking water ! The country location is very peaceful with cafe and coffee handy. . Guests definitely should book chocolate making with Nicci!! This is so much fun for all ages and great value for money too ! We booked a 2 hour slot for our arrival and the kids loved it ! Thanks Nicci! 🙂🍩

The home was well appointed, built exceptionally well. We loved the central heating that kept us warm especially when the temps dropped on the first night. View of Mt Taranaki was such a treat! Kids enjoyed the garden, the trampoline. It’s a beautiful home, we felt a tad uncomfortable as it is obviously Sabine’s own home too. They welcomed us like their own! Thank you for opening your home to us.

The beach house if very nice and homey. We are a family of 7 and we were able to cook and relax the only thing I can suggest is to put some lights on the terrace area specially if the guests are having dinner on it. But overall if was a good experience.

Michael's house is not just a place to live, it is a unique experience. And that is not only because of its location right at the edge of the dunes. Also not because it is fully equiped with well designed utensils perfectly matching the clean interior. All these things are there and bring you in a relaxed and natural atmosphere. The sheer magic of this place is to be discovered by its lodgers. That story is to long to describe here and it would not be appropriate to reveal it beforehand. We shall treasure this place forever. We had the most incredible stay at Donna and Paul’s beautiful property! The house is perfectly situated right on the water, you fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake up to breathtaking countryside views, with the stunning Mt. Taranaki in the distance. The sunsets here are truly magical. The home itself is super spacious and has all the comforts you’d want. Donna and Paul are amazing hosts, warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. Donna even left us some fresh tomatoes from the garden, which we turned into a delicious pasta dinner! Their dog was adorable and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommend!
