Waterfront vacation rentals in South Sarasota

Jeffery’s rental was perfect. He has such an eye for detail and it’s beautifully decorated. Our view of the ocean from the sitting area outside the rental was spectacular! The space contained everything you would possibly need and was extremely comfortable. This is our second stay at Shell Cove 1 and we highly recommend it to others.

Cute as a button! Super homie! Steps to the beach! Had everything we needed. The place was just as described and walkable to almost everything. Great location! Fabulous house! We will definitely be coming back to stay with Debra. The sunroom is absolutely the best spot in the house!

this is my second year in a row coming down to siesta key and I have always stayed here. walking distance from everything but yet this place is quiet and peaceful. it is a diamond in the ruff.

Such a great location! The breeze trolley stops right out front and made it super easy to get around. The place was super clean and quiet. The pool right out the door was perfect! We plan on coming back next year and will for sure stay in one of Lisa’s properties. She was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. Loved our stay!

My husband and I stayed two nights at Serenity of the Manatee. We really enjoyed this beautiful, peaceful, and cozy place that is only 30 to 35 minutes from beaches. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed; however, a small stove will be a great addition for longer stays. We would definitely stay here again.

I visit Sarasota every year and stay each time at a new place. This year I wanted to do something closer to the beach and Siesta Village. Matt’s spot was perfectly located for this due to being so close to the beach and every night we walked to the village for dinner/nightlife which was about 15 minutes walking distance. Overall a great place for 1-4 people if you’re looking for a nice chill vacation.

This was our 2nd stay here. We absolutely love it! Can’t beat the beach and the sunsets. We will be back.

Such a beautiful house in an amazing location! 10 minutes from great restaurants and the amazing Siesta Key beach. Not to mention the lake in the back of the house itself was an amazing view and spot to catch sunrise or sunset too. The house itself was beautiful with everything we needed. Marius was a great host that was super responsive and accomodating to our plans too. Looking forward to our next visit to Sarasota to stay here again!

A beautiful little place to stay with a nice dock on the property, perfect for a couple, the property was nice and easy to get to, i absolutely would come back if I were in town again

The Jungle Nook is an absolutely beautiful home with a great deck & picturesque view of the lake, very serene and peaceful. The space truly matched the pictures on the listing. The neighborhood is great and walkable, I did so everyday - I personally liked that the home is kind of tucked away in the neighborhood and not in a super busy area traffic wise - but supermarkets and stores are close by and easy to get to within 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, beaches & downtown Sarasota are within a 20 minute drive. Landon was very responsive & is a great host - it was definitely a peaceful and relaxing stay, we will definitely be back soon!

The house was clean and had everything you needed to make you feel as if you were at your own home. The pool was great. The house was in a perfect location to anything you’d need, restaurants, stores etc. 15 minutes from the beach which was awesome. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

5 stars for the location and proximity to everything Sarasota has to offer. The hot / cold water cooler and teas and coffee was nice to have. There’s room for improvement, ie front door and lanai couches but great find overall.

Very nice home. A lot of nice touches, like a list of local recommendations. We tried Mama Gs and it was spectacular. Also don't miss Sarasota Jungle Gardens which was a few streets away. We found the home was perfectly located for visiting downtown Sarasota, St Pete, and Anna Maria Island. I particularly enjoyed just looking around the yard at the different plants, there were mango trees, avocado trees, and some other nice flowers. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. My family really had a great time and this is a beautiful home to stay in while in the area. I would definitely recommend. Oren was also very responsive which I appreciated, even though nothing major came up, it was nice to know he was available. Thanks for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home.

We had a very good time at Siesta Key and enjoyed our time at Maureen's place. The building is older, the amenities are well maintained and the condo itself is well cared for. I did find some mystery stains on the mattress and the decorative pillows in my room, but I'm guessing they are just spills that were difficult to get out. More importantly, the boat dock is usable, albeit with some difficulty if the boat is larger than 22 feet or so. We figured out on the second day that the best way to dock was parallel to the intracoastal between the posts and to tie off with lines on either side of the stern and with a single line on the bow. I would check ahead to make sure the dock is available, but we had no other boats docked there on a holiday weekend. The private beach access was a lifesaver on a holiday weekend, despite the short walk required to get there. Having both intracoastal and beach access is the biggest value of the place in my opinion.

My daughter and I stayed for a mother daughter girls trip and had a blast! They made sure to take care of every little detail to make you feel comfortable and at home. Even checking in and making sure we made it ok. It was very clean and the location was amazing. Easy to get around on the trolly if we didn't want to drive and literally steps away from the beautiful white sand and clear turquoise beach. Do yourself a favor and book the trip!

I highly recommend Clara's place for your next stay in Sarasota! I was traveling solo this trip and was really looking forward to a quiet place to "unplug" and that's exactly what I got! Her place is beautiful, clean, spacious and very comfortable. I must have been there on a week that wasn't too busy because I never heard anyone next to my unit, above or beneath. Folks at the pool were quiet and it was never over crowded. I am a fan of St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach and traveled there twice daily for my morning beach /circle walks, then back for lunch and beaching it before a peaceful cocktail and dinner before heading back. The waterview from the balcony is spectacular and again, very peaceful. I enjoyed sitting out there each evening before bed. Great place and look forward to going back again soon!

We had a beautiful week at Martha’s condo!! We loved everything about it- spotlessly clean and well decorated, well stocked with towels, blankets, paper goods, kitchen items, beach gear… everything you could possibly be in need of. The view from the balcony is wonderful for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunset. The condo building and amenities were wonderful as well. The pool area was never crowded, many loungers, and a perfectly heated pool and hot tub. We found the location to be absolutely perfect- off a main road that takes you to downtown and beaches but tucked away and quiet. You can walk to downtown restaurants and shops and we even walked over the Lido Key bridge one evening to St. Armand’s Circle. Downtown Sarasota, beautiful Lido Key beach and St Armand’s Circle are all a quick 5-7 min car ride away. Martha was an excellent host, checked in on us and was responsive to anything we needed. We would return anytime without hesitation!! Just wonderful! Thankyou Martha!

Heidi is a generous, gracious host. From sending us helpful lists with restaurants and attractions to being available and responsive, she took care of us. We loved the location - beautiful quiet beach and the ocean just steps away. The pool below the palm trees. Great restaurants nearby. We loved our stay.

The place was great! Very well stocked kitchen, bathroom and even had beach stuff available for use. Location was perfect, a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants.

This place was paradise! Beach, ocean, and pool all so close and relaxing. Everything was a short, walkable, and there is a free trolley to take you all around the area. Ryan was great at communicating and responded within 15 minutes at the latest. Lots of towels for the beach, well stocked kitchen. Nothing but 5 stars all around!! 10/10 recommend this property and host!!!!
