Apartment vacation rentals in South Ribble District

We had the pleasure of staying at Dale’s newly renovated one-bedroom flat for three nights. The flat boasts a beautifully presented kitchen and a luxurious bathroom featuring double marble bowl sinks and a spacious wet room. The large bedroom with high ceilings added to the sense of openness and comfort. The location was exceptionally quiet, situated on the top floor, making it feel as though we were the only ones in the building. Dale welcomed us with fresh roses and a bottle of red wine, adding a personal and thoughtful touch to our stay. As an interior designer myself, I particularly appreciated the careful selection of this freshly renovated period building with its high ceilings and attention to detail. Shops were within walking distance for a quick coffee run, though Dale had thoughtfully provided a Nespresso machine in the flat. We enjoyed short walk to the beach and suffice to say, Dale’s impeccable attention to detail made this stay truly memorable

This was our first Air B&B experience so obviously we were a little nervous. We needn’t have been. Host was absolutely brilliant with any questions we had and the property was exactly as described and what we needed for our stay. It was tucked away in beautiful surroundings and I found a gorgeous walk/jogging route through the countryside with our viz. :) Despite there being a golf course right outside it was extremely scenic and quiet. It was perfect location for anywhere we needed to be with easy access to Wigan, Manchester and Liverpool. Everywhere we went during our stay was within around a 15 minute drive. 💯 would recommend this little hidden gem and stunning location. Thank you so much for letting us stay! This is definitely somewhere we would stay again in the future 🙏🏻🌟

Great find, the place was easy to find parking outside on road great. Place was spotless beds comfy very quiet area but central. Would highly recommend this place hopefully will be returning.

Great place, very quiet and peaceful. Beds comfortable. We stayed whilst going to a family wedding in the area. We would definitely recommend the place and stay again if we visit the area.

This place is beautiful and well worth the money I paid. The whole place is very modern and tastefully decorated. It was very clean throughout and the beds really comfortable. You had everything you could need on your doorstep and the train station is a 5min walk away. Although the apartment is in the town centre there was very little noise when in the apartment so my peace was not compromised and sleep not disturbed.

Absolutely beautiful place. Full of character and charm and felt so cosy we did not want to leave. We had everything we needed and Dawn is a fantastic host. Stunning and spotless accommodation! Really ideal location especially for us as wedding guests at Wyrsedale Park. Darrell was super helpful and accommodating. We only wish we were staying longer to take advantage of the gorgeous surroundings. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time!

Myself and my partner spent three blissful nights at this gorgeous apartment, and loved every second of it - we were so sad to leave! The space is absolutely stunning, with unique and thoughtful touches everywhere. We loved the impeccable attention to detail, sumptuous bed, and quirky decor! The location was incredibly peaceful, despite being a stone’s throw away from the high street, and Samantha provided everything we could need for a wonderful stay - including a welcome gift which was such a lovely touch! Samantha was a helpful, friendly and responsive host, which made checking in a smooth and hassle-free experience. We can’t recommend this Yorkshire gem enough and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Only stayed there one night to attend a local wedding. Host was very accommodating in allowing access to drop bags ahead of check-in time. Accommodation clean and tidy. We had everything we needed for our stay. Directions were clear, but due to being down a quiet single track lane we thought we may had gone the wrong way- no such worries, as sign posted.

Our first experience of Airbnb but Irene's flat was excellent for us and we will certainly look again. The description was accurate and everything was as we expected and just what we needed for the three days in and around Wigan. We did try to get into the wrong apartment area but that was my fault for not reading things carefully!! Private car parking is a bonus. We didn't meet Irene as we didn't have any problems (once I realised I was trying the wrong door) but she communicated well beforehand. Thank you Irene.

Everything was perfect with the accommodation. It is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, ideal for relaxing. The place fully met all our needs, and we really enjoyed the calm surroundings. Shops, cafés, and restaurants are all nearby, which made our stay even more convenient. Nicky was very helpful and friendly. I can only recommend this place!

This was a comfy, clean and well furnished place to stay. We appreciated the friendly welcome and café drinks on the house (and a good eclectic mix of records!). Special thanks for being so flexible with checking in, and for not minding our mad dash away. If we're back up in Bury, we'll be sure to stay again! The only thing for others to be aware of is it is located near some pubs/nightclubs that were quite noisy when we stayed on a Saturday night.

I stayed for a weekend and I was amazed by the place, it was incredibly clean and professional. The host was very helpful and responsive. If I were to go to Preston for a weekend again I would definitely stay here again.

Lynne is a lovely lady and her place is beautiful and peaceful my husband said it was the comfiest bed he had ever slept in. Stones throw from the beach everything you need in the local village and a walkable journey to the train station or drive to Liverpoool.or Southport so great location. The statues on the beach are breathtaking and we'll worth the stay just to see them. Highly Recommend

Nick was very helpful at all times, very quick responding to any questions I had! Very easy to find, easy to get in and out of rooms with the instructions. The 2 separate rooms worked really well for us! Lovely stay and great location

Beautiful apartment with amazing views. A perfect place for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hot tub was fantastic. The apartment was spotless and a great place to relax. We would definitely recommend staying here and Shayne was a great host.

Me and my partner had a last minute weekend break and loved how easy and the extra mile that the host went to to make us feel welcome and the thought from themselves to make our stay perfect and relaxing to the complimentary bottle of wine they left and tea and colder etc etc incase we had forgotten, the amenities and kitchen accessories were all new and clean and good quality and once again had covered all basis, ie plastic kitchen wear for the hot tub but also proper kitchen wear for inside. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property, thankyou again Rachel for a lovely break. Pete and Toni

Lovely apartment, extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Best hairdryer I’ve ever used (GHD)! We had a little trouble finding the entrance and the lovely guy at check in came out to the street to find us. The location is perfect, so close to Albert dock. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Lapis room. If you are a light sleeper I’d suggest ear plugs as there is a gate nearby for residents that gets opened and closed at night (not too many times though) and early-ish delivery vans. Normal to heavy sleepers won’t have a problem.
