Will recommend to friends and family for sure. Truly enjoyed the stay. The view was tireless, with a great vantage point and meditative (if you do that sort of thing). The dock was also private and the water clear. This was be a great place to use the available double and single kayaks although we brought our paddleboards so our dog Chloe could join us. The location and the river have lots of intact natural beauty as does the well kept trails which were a welcome morning hike before the air warmed. We warmed up at the private firepit at night while we continued to look out over the lake. Both Rene and Deacon were wonderful hosts to us and to our dog. Rene clearly enjoys sharing his peace of heaven and goes above and beyond to make this an elevated experience. Thank you Rene and Deacon.

Kate's place is quite lovely and provides an opportunity to be a part of Glen Tay Valley history. The Garden's are beautiful and sitting in the summer house is a treat. Great place for reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Our dog loves it there too as he can watch the bird life by the Tay river. Kate's digs are a great spot for resting in between adventures in the Perth area. Absolutely charming. It was our third time back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the geo dome in Yarker! The location right on the lake offered breathtaking views that made our getaway truly unforgettable. The dome was spotless and beautifully maintained, providing all the comforts we needed for a relaxing retreat. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience seamless and welcoming. We especially appreciated the thoughtful personal welcome card she left for us—it was such a lovely touch. We enjoyed a cozy evening by the bonfire and had a fantastic time paddling around the lake in the canoe. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. From the second we arrived Monica made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were showed to our private cabin overlooking the lake, given a quick tour of the amenities and settled in for an incredible stay. The site and the views are just like the pictures, but better in person. Kitchen was stocked with necessities and a few small appliances, propane full for the BBQ and outdoor shower water heater. A hammock, deck and private dock all within feet of the cabin as well. I really want to stress how great of a host Monica was. Thank you for helping make such a memorable trip for us. 10/10 recommend. can't wait to come back!

We had an exceptional experience at this place! The environment was tranquil and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with all the necessary instructions and even helping out when we encountered a minor hiccup with the fire. We enjoyed the cabin over a family weekend. It was cosy and thoughtfully designed. We liked walking the trails on the property and watching the bird feeder. Christine went out of her way to help us make the most of our visit, even during a very rainy first day.

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.
