Claire welcomed us in to he beautiful home to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The younger kids really enjoyed helping out with the rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs and were lucky enough to meet some recently hatched chicks. The older kids (and adults) spent most of their time between the games room and the hot tub. Fantastic setting for a family gathering as there really is something for everyone. Great memories and a fantastic, modern venue with everything you need to have a relaxing time, or as we found, the perfect venue for a birthday celebration.

We absolutely loved Gaynor’s Summerhouse. So beautiful, colours relaxing, absolutely immaculately clean. Gaynor was really helpful in explaining how everything worked & things to do in the local area. The surrounding scenery is just stunning! We’re definitely heading back to the area at some point & hopefully Gaynor’s Summerhouse will be available when we do! We loved our little holiday. Thank you.😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lodge. Our host Jaqcui was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We found the place to be immaculately clean but also cosy and homely feel. Hot tub was spotless with a great view! Would love to return at some point!

Beautiful & Cosy Holiday Home in Gorgeous Location

We have been coming to this site for many years and seen many changes, some good, some not so. As regular visitors we have stayed in other caravans on the site but this one was much better than others. The quality of the sofa bed in the lounge is amazing, so comfortable and perfect for the space, also incredibly easy to convert from sofa to bed. The mattresses on the beds in the rooms were of a higher quality and much thicker than others we have experienced in caravans here. Having Wifi was great as we were visiting during colder months so lovely to cosy up to watch movies. Even though it was -3 at one point during our stay we were always lovely and warm. I will look to book this caravan again, it really does have that little bit extra to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The view over the lake is also an added bonus. Watching the sun rise through the trees was magical, especially after being so lucky seeing the northern lights too! Thank you for having us xx

Nothing short of amazing! A nature lover’s paradise (even with the Scottish weather). Got dry weather for an hour one morning haha so had a lovely breakfast in the garden. Met two tiny (literally newborn) lambs in the field next to us! All wobbly on their feet. So cute!! Friendly hosts, very clean and well decorated.

Booked The Stables for 8 adults and 1 child as a little family break. We were greeted with strawberry jam and a packet of shortbread, courtesy of Nicola, and a handy booklet with info and instructions. The house was nothing short of gorgeous. Honestly the stuff of dreams! So clean, cosy and well proportioned. There aren’t enough words to describe the grounds themselves. We would need a week to explore them alone! Truly beautiful, a good base to explore Edinburgh as Glasgow as the train station is 10 mins away by car. A safe and open area where you could really relax and spend quality time with loved ones. Hope to be back when it’s snowing! Nicola was also very helpful and responded to enquiries in a timely manner! Many thanks.

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin on the farm. The setting was peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway. One particularly rainy day turned out to be just what I needed to slow down and relax. A special thanks to the farmer, who was incredibly kind and helpful—he quickly helped me get some firewood so I could cook over the fire. That extra bit of hospitality really made the experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Kieran was very responsive and so helpful. She was eager to help us enjoy the most out of our trip! The flat was beautiful and extremely clean, it was perfect for us! The location couldn’t have been better either. Great walking distance to many amazing restaurants and stores.

We recently stayed at the beautiful cabins located at Cairns Farm. The lodges were a perfect size for a couple and had all the necessities for a brilliant weekend away. The only problem we found was the lack of reasonably priced taxis and transport into Edinburgh if you were wanting to go out for the evening. Other than that, it’s a brilliant weekend get away and would highly recommend.

It was a great place to stay. It was neat & tidy. Beautiful location. Accommodation looked like brand new. Some of the items listed by Airbnb were not provided, like iron, baking sheet etc. Guest Service team was great, very quick to respond and very friendly and helpful.

Great caravan, wonderful surroundings and amazing Staff. Myself and a friend decided on Moffat as we were playing golf for 3 days in the area and wanted to use it as a base. From the start Marie in the office was amazing. Really friendly and helpful and always ready for a chat. The caravan was as described, pristine in and out with balcony that overlooked the fields. There is a bar on site but only opened Friday and Saturday I assume due to it being out of season. There is a lovely pub 5 minute walk away which serves wonderful food. We would definitely return for our next golfing trip if only to have a chat with Marie again!

Really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for us as we got married at the barn and were able to walk there.
