Chic Flat Close to Harrods and the V&A Museum

Lovely apartment - two bedrooms, sitting room, hall, kitchen and bathroom - situated on the top (fourth) floor of a large Victorian building in a beautiful residential street (see photos). There is no lift/elevator so you'll need to be happy with a walk up. Freshly decorated throughout, with recently refurbished bathroom and kitchen. Furnished with a mix of period and contemporary furniture, my apartment is comfortable and cosy. If you like something with character and personality - as opposed to an anonymous hotel-like space - with books and pictures and a bit of period style you'll love this place. The kitchen is well equipped - plenty of cookware, utensils and dinnerware, oven, hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and a Lavazza coffee machine. Close to the Brompton Road, you are just minutes from Harrods and within easy walking distance of Sloane Square, Kings Road, Hyde Park Corner. In just five minutes or so, you can be in the foyer of the Victoria & Albert Museum or dining alfresco in the village-like South Kensington.. Conveniently positioned between Knightsbridge and South Kensington underground stations with good bus services to the West End and elsewhere. Guests will have sole use of the apartment. There is a second bedroom - also with a double bed - available if the second guest requires their own bedroom. I will not be there for the duration of your visit. I will, however, be there to welcome you and see that you are settled and, likely, will return for your departure. This is my home rather than a business so you will find it comfortable, safe and homely, well equipped for everything you'd need for your stay. I work away for certain periods so have decided to share my home with AirBnB guests. I will welcome you on arrival, see that you are settled and happy but then leave you to enjoy your stay. I will, of course, be at the end of the phone should you need assistance. Located in one of the most exclusive residential streets in London, the flat is situated in a period property, in a conservation area, surrounded by beautiful buildings, world class museums, high end shops and restaurants. The perfect location! Very close to the bus stop which serves several key routes - to the West End (Piccadilly, Covent Garden, etc), Victoria (Buckingham Palace) ... Two underground stations are close by - South Kensington (on the Piccadilly, Circle and District Lines) and Knightsbridge (on the Piccadilly). The Piccadilly Line gives direct route to London Heathrow. The apartment is in on the top (fourth) floor of a handsome large Victorian building converted many years ago into apartments. Since there is no lift, and it is a walk up, it would not suit anyone with mobility issues. It's a quiet residential house and will suit visitors who are seeking a cosy, comfortable home from home.
