Waterfront vacation rentals in South End, Halifax

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

Jim’s place was close to family we were visiting in Nova Scotia. It was the perfect home away from home - quiet and cozy. Jim was a great communicator- letting us know exactly what to expect. We had a large travel van with kayaks on top. Jim’s place accommodated this perfectly. We would for sure make this property home base again next time we are in the area!

Great location for our stay. Apartment was clean and spacious with most comfortable beds. Jin was easy to contact and responded to requests quickly. The lake was a bonus with dock for swimming and plenty of outside seating. We would definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay in Dartmouth!

We had a wonderful stay. Quiet, peaceful and the view isn't too bad either! We ate at the Sou'Wester which is right next door. Perfect! The day we were supposed to check out there was snow! Jordan offered us a later check-out time without us even asking. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Esther’s place. It was calm, tranquil, the setting was glorious and we had a wonderful time. We ate our breakfast watching seals playing in the water and ate our dinner watching epic sunsets. Esther was very helpful and there is plenty to do in the area. We would definitely recommend it.

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

What’s great place to stay. Everything was exactly as advertised and more. I spend about 100 nights a year away from home and staying here made me feel like I was right at home. Very comfortable, clean. It was perfect.

Our stay at Terence Bay was incredible. The location is stunning—right on the beach with beautiful views of a lighthouse. My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks, go hiking along the seashore and even find sea glass right in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more and my family didn’t want our time to end! The property was spotless and even better than the pictures. Our two kids especially loved the bunk bed room. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure bliss. Danielle, our host, was fantastic—always helpful and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely cared about us having a great trip. She offered us tips and help when needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and family.

The house was just what we were looking for, for our family getaway. We appreciated the quick responses to any of our questions. Hope to come again, especially when the gardens are in bloom. Thank you 😊

We had a great long Easter weekend! Really liked the house, the inside and outside with the gorgeous view on the water. Exactly what we were looking for and Greg was really welcoming!

We had the most incredible time at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely stunning - right on the water, offering breathtaking views that made for the perfect setting to celebrate our best friend's birthday and have a much-needed girls’ night. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of how beautiful and spacious the property was. The kitchen is massive and perfect for hosting, with every tool and gadget you could possibly need (and more). This place truly had it all! Katrina was an amazing host - so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate and unwind. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gorgeous, peaceful getaway. Can’t wait to return!

C'était un vrai havre de paix. Tout est pensée en fonction des besoins des utilisateurs. nous étions un groupe de parents qui c'était rassemblé pour une compétions de cheerleding de nos filles qui avait lieux à Halifax. il n'y avait pas d'enfant avec nous la maison est grande il y a de la place pour tous. La communication était super je recommande cet hôte. Merci Erine nous avons passé un excellent moment

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!
