Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South End, Halifax

What a gorgeous place! My only complaint was that we didn’t book a longer stay! Incredible views, wonderful location and a beautiful home. Perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends.

We stayed at Wilfred's place while we were in town for our son's wedding. There were 7 of us that stayed there and it was plenty of room. The kitchen is very nice and very well stocked. The location is great! You can walk to downtown Dartmouth where there are shops and restaurants or you can jump on the ferry and go over to downtown Halifax. There is also a wonderful park right next door with a playground, splash pad, basketball, tennis/pickleball and walking paths. Wilfred did a great job with communication and check in was very easy. We will definitely look this home up again if we need a place to stay when we come to visit.

Doris’ place was excellent. The house and yard were beautiful, quiet and private with access to the lake. The place offered Something for everyone in our group (7 of us between the ages of 11 and 75 years) to keep entertained and relaxed. We had the best time and would love to stay again. The amenities were as described in the listing and she was a very responsive host!

We had a wonderful stay, the place was great and accessible. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at Terence Bay was incredible. The location is stunning—right on the beach with beautiful views of a lighthouse. My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks, go hiking along the seashore and even find sea glass right in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more and my family didn’t want our time to end! The property was spotless and even better than the pictures. Our two kids especially loved the bunk bed room. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure bliss. Danielle, our host, was fantastic—always helpful and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely cared about us having a great trip. She offered us tips and help when needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and family.

We recently stayed at Anni’s place and were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The entire place was very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out process, and great location. Anni was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. You also will feel comfortable like your home .The host is very nice, very kind and always ready to help you when you need it. Everything is perfect and you can just come here with your luggage. It is also conveniently located for quick access to the shopping areas and downtown Halifax.

Fantastic modern house, beautifully decorated. Everything that you would need including toiletries. Would highly recommend and very friendly hosts.

Jamie’s place was wonderful. Lovely to be in, close to great restaurants and other fun things, very comfortable and clean. We loved our time there!

We really enjoyed our stay. Jim and Heather are super welcoming hosts. Great location, not far from Halifax and the airport. Modern and comfortable accommodation. Access to the lake from the apartment. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again!

Cindy’s place was absolutely perfect for my stay in downtown Halifax! The location is unbeatable—close to great restaurants, the waterfront, and everything the city has to offer. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Cindy was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made sure i had everything needed. Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

Lovely area. Quiet and peaceful . Nice country getaway. Rental had everything you could ever need. Even had a bbq. Had a fire pit to sit around in evenings.

Very clean and quaint spot to stay at. The theatre room was fantastic. Made my weeks stay a great time!

Interior is modern and very comfortable and the swim spa and patio area are private, with great views of the bay during the day and the stars at night. Easy access to Hailfax and the surrounding area.

The apartment was clean, spacious, bright, well-designed, and decorated, and it had all the amenities. It was quiet in the apartment, and there was little noise from the street. Great location to walk everywhere we wanted to go. A nice place to be for a conference - away from the hotels and bustle of downtown.
