Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South End, Halifax

We stayed at Wilfred's place while we were in town for our son's wedding. There were 7 of us that stayed there and it was plenty of room. The kitchen is very nice and very well stocked. The location is great! You can walk to downtown Dartmouth where there are shops and restaurants or you can jump on the ferry and go over to downtown Halifax. There is also a wonderful park right next door with a playground, splash pad, basketball, tennis/pickleball and walking paths. Wilfred did a great job with communication and check in was very easy. We will definitely look this home up again if we need a place to stay when we come to visit.

Doris’ place was excellent. The house and yard were beautiful, quiet and private with access to the lake. The place offered Something for everyone in our group (7 of us between the ages of 11 and 75 years) to keep entertained and relaxed. We had the best time and would love to stay again. The amenities were as described in the listing and she was a very responsive host!

We had a wonderful stay, the place was great and accessible. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic modern house, beautifully decorated. Everything that you would need including toiletries. Would highly recommend and very friendly hosts.

A gorgeous property! Comfortable beds, nice size kitchen; many uniqique artful touches throughout. Fabulous hiking nearby along the seaside cliffs. Hot tub and sauna very clean and appreciated after a long day hiking. Randy was a very responsive and friendly host and we would absolutely recommend!

A beautiful home right on the Dalhousie campus and within walkable distance of all Halifax has to offer. The house was perfect for our young family.

The apartment was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Cindy was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made sure i had everything needed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Halifax!

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

Lovely area. Quiet and peaceful . Nice country getaway. Rental had everything you could ever need. Even had a bbq. Had a fire pit to sit around in evenings.

We liked Tee's space! it's the bottom floor of a 3 unit building, so if you are sensitive to noise you might notice other residents. My husband sleeps with earplugs and it wasn't enough noise to bother me! Had everything we needed - comfortable beds and linens, plenty of kitchen gear and places to hang up our towels!

Very clean and quaint spot to stay at. The theatre room was fantastic. Made my weeks stay a great time!

Interior is modern and very comfortable and the swim spa and patio area are private, with great views of the bay during the day and the stars at night. Easy access to Hailfax and the surrounding area.

The apartment was clean, spacious, bright, well-designed, and decorated, and it had all the amenities. It was quiet in the apartment, and there was little noise from the street. Great location to walk everywhere we wanted to go. A nice place to be for a conference - away from the hotels and bustle of downtown.
