Portobello Townhouse

We had a brilliant stay at Ruth's place for a weekend away in Dublin. The house was fantastic and in a great location which was easily walkable to the city centre as well as having a wide range of nearby places to eat and drink. Ruth was incredibly responsive from the point of booking all the way through to our stay and gave us some great recommendations for activities, bars, restaurants and cafes. I would highly recommend staying at Ruth's place and we would certainly stay again if we go back to Dublin.

3 Double Bedrooms - The Liberties - Entire Home

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Marcus was great. We arrived much earlier than check-in time and asked if we would be able to drop our bags. Marcus gave us the ok but told us that the place would not be cleaned when we dropped our bags off. He notified us early that we could drop our bags off. Marcus met us at his home and let us in. He was in the process of cleaning from the prior renters. He gave us a list of things that we could do on the day of our Guinness tour. The Guinness storeroom is just 5 minutes down the street. We then proceeded on our adventures. Marcus let us know when he was finished cleaning. He checked in with us during the next day to see how we were doing. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were nice. The bathroom is, as others have mentioned, extremely small. If you have any girth to you, you might want to pass on this Airbnb. Location in the Liberties is awesome. It is walkable and we were able to stop in and chill during our adventures. I would recommend Marcus.
A welcoming entryway features wooden archways leading into a spacious living area. Natural light fills the space, highlighting a media console and a dining table set for six. Light-colored walls and wooden flooring create a warm and inviting entrance.

Home in Dublin

LeaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a good stay at Daniel's home. He was very friendly with reception and very helpful. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. There are multiple bus stops within walking distance. Also the (small) supermarket and a few pubs are within 10 minutes walk. The house was clean and the beds were fine; not too hard and not too soft. It is nice that there is a backyard, for when the weather is nice. The house is as it is shown in the photos, not very modern, but you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended if you want a nice stay in Dublin, in a quiet normal residential area, but still within half an hour from the busy city center.

Bright & Cozy 2BD Home in Dublin - Pet Friendly

DanielleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This is a nice cozy little place that is as described. The bedrooms are both located upstairs with the living areas and bathroom on the first floor. The elevated bed is quite elevated but the bed is comfortable. There were no extras like paper towels so be sure to bring your own. This is a bit removed from lots of restaurant options but there are some grocery stores close by. Overall it was a nice stop for our last two nights in Ireland.
A cozy living area is highlighted by a comfortable couch and a colorful patterned rug. Various art pieces adorn the walls, while a window offers natural light. A small desk and chair provide a workspace, and plants add a touch of greenery.

Dublin Eco Home

DonnaRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We loved staying at Serena’s home. It was a great base for the five of us to experience Dublin and all it had to offer. The layout was great, loved the open kitchen living room dining rooms, we had lots of space to hang out and catch up. We had plenty of room to have shared space, private space, loved the bathrooms and kitchen too. The design of the home was so thoughtful and simple! We took the bus every day to some part of Dublin, even went to a local festival in Harold’s Cross after seeing the signs. Walking the neighborhood and navigating the bus was really easy. Serena guided us to the best way to get from the airport to her place, gave us early check in and took us on an extensive tour of the house. Helped us navigate departure and taxi to the airport too. We had a trip of a lifetime and so glad we were able to use Serena’s home as part of it.

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚
