Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Dakota

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Such a nice cute place. It was close to lots of things to do in the area and still decently private and such a beautiful area. It was very clean and felt comfortable to be in. We didn’t get to use the hot tub sadly because it wasn’t ready and was ice cold and we kept forgetting to try and start it up early before we needed it. But it would have been so nice had we taken the time because of the beautiful trees and the smell of the mountain air. Loved that so much! It was also hard to find for the first time because we showed up when it was dark. We couldn’t see there was a place even there because it was so dark but once we made it on to the steep driveway a small light does pop on giving some light. So showing up in the day light the first night will help. 🙂. But if you can’t just trust the location. Great place!! We will stay there again!

Molly is a fantastic host! She answered all my questions and was extremely helpful. The place was clean, spacious and the vintage feel was delightful! Highly recommend!

Beatiful home! Well stocked with everything you might need! Felt like we had stayed there 100 times or like it was our family cabin. Warm, cozy, clean, and felt like home!

Great value for the 3 of us. Nice to have a garage to put the boat in overnight.

Loved our stay!! Everything we needed for cooking, games, tv, and more! Only thing to be aware of is the super steep spiral stair case. Would stay again!

We came snowboarding during spring break and we had a great time! Beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked nicely, house was clean. There were some toys that my little kids loved and played with the entire time. We did need to put it in 4wd to get up the driveway. Would definitely stay again!

This is our 4th year with this same property of Laura's! We highly recommend this property!!! We always feel welcome - the house is beautiful and very clean! Laura is extremely responsive and quick! She has worked with us when either checking in early or checking out a little late. I would like to also note - Laura and her cleaning company have went over and above to accommodate us with our stay! THANK YOU SO MUCH! WE LOOK FORWARD TO STAYING AGAIN!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. It is very cozy. Everything was clean. It was close to everything and in a good neighborhood.

My mom, stepdad, and I stayed here with our dog, and we will 100% be back. They were very welcoming and friendly people. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful. It was perfect distance between Rapid City and Custer with plenty of places to eat (very delicious ones that are dog friendly at that). Their two dogs, Sadie and Bruce, are so friendly and well behaved. They had everything we needed and MORE! Finding an airbnb that is not only dog friendly, but dog accommodating can be pretty hard, but staying here was an instant stress reliever. The place was very clean and well put together. Not to mention, they even had books on recommended trails and parks to visit (with a handful of trails tabbed which was really helpful). All in all, this airbnb is well worth its 5-star reviews! Hinterwood is an incredible place surrounded by stunning views and a perfect location. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved spending time around the firepit. Thank you! We highly recommended!

The host has clearly put in a lot of effort to keep this older home in pristine condition, complete with modern furnishings and amenities. Very comfortable space to live in.

We truly loved this place! If you enjoy beautiful places and seeing wildlife this place is amazing. We loved getting up early and looking out from the deck as the sun rose on the hills. The house was everything we wanted and more. You won’t be disappointed with this Airbnb!

Staying at Trinity’s place in Boulder Canyon at Apple Springs was a pleasure. The location was perfect, right on the beautiful golf course with amazing sunrises. The home was clean, well organized and the beds and linens very comfortable. Trinity was always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend and we will stay again next time we visit the area!

Natalia and her husband heard of our bad prior experience and they promised we would love this house. They were gracious enough to offer a full home. Our family had the best time in this more than beautiful home. This house had everything our own home has and felt immediately like that. We are grateful for making our trip better and giving our granddaughters a sense of excitement and comfort. We walked to aquatic center for a swim. This is a real winner!!! Thank you soo much!
