Stylish Somerset studio

FreyaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed overnight at the Studio when driving back from Cornwall and it was the perfect place for an overnight stop! The studio is clean, bright and comfy. We also enjoyed sitting in the outside area in the evening and enjoying how peaceful the local area is. Madeleine was super friendly and helpful - offering a warm welcome and recommendations for the local area. Rupert the dog was also friendly and very well behaved. The only point to note was the wifi was quite weak inside the studio but fine when sitting outside. We would recommend visiting Perry’s Cider Mills across the road for breakfast and there was a great selection of local food.

Luxurious eco-stay in rolling Devon hills

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

Luxurious studio for two with spectacular views

RalphRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing 3-night stay at this cottage! The hosts are super friendly and respond very quickly, which made everything extra easy. The cottage is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos—truly a gem. It’s wonderfully peaceful, right in the middle of nature, so you can really unwind. And it was spotless, which we really appreciated. In short, highly recommended if you’re looking to relax in a beautiful and quiet spot. We’ll definitely be coming back when we visit the area again!

Beautiful rural retreat with stunning views

CliveRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We booked this accommodation at very short notice and Nikki very kindly prepared the place for our arrival. This place is unique in its quirkiness, we loved Nicki's taste in artwork surrounding the walls and the 100 plus books on the shelf. there is a little space where you can sit and look at the beautiful valley and the distant countryside environment. If you are not too tired to stargaze apparently the dark skies are worth waiting up for, on our visit there was a lot of cloud unfortunately. We have visited this area many times and never tire of the places and things to do and see, the accommodation is within easy reach of so many places of interest. It is important to plan the journey into the property, there is a short journey through some very tight lanes, however even though we did not follow instructions properly we did not meet any serious traffic.

relax and unwind in beautiful Devon countryside

Although it is at a working farm it is still a quiet relaxing place to stay. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden and the patio doors that he could go in and out of. We enjoyed the ice cream parlour 5 min away.

Peaceful rural retreat

NathalieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very peaceful stay at the Stables. The location was a perfect base to visit all that Somerset, Devon and Dorset have to offer and then come back and chill. As others have said the accommodation was lovely, clean and well appointed. Heather and Angus were great hosts and of course the highlight of our stay were the morning visits from Pip and Mabel, although I feel that they may have been more interested in the treats that were on offer than our company. We will definitely return the next time we are in that part of the world.

Beautiful old barn converted from Duck House

KayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Duck house is absolutely gorgeous, and had everything we needed for our visit it was amazing. Elizabeth and her husband were such lovely hosts, we were very well cared for. With extra recommendations for where we could go on walks with our baby in the carrier, and were given a helping hand with a tyre pump when a friend of ours dropped us off and needed one in an emergency. Would recommend anyone needing to stay in the area to book here, and we'd very happily stay again. Thank you again for a lovely stay at Duck house xxx
