Vacation rentals with lake access in South Bank, South Brisbane

Emma and Jon were nice. No problem, stayed out of the way unless asked. Location was brilliant for us, so close to Pat Rafter Arena. Outdoor spa was sensational, pool and ice bath 👏🏼 Kitchen was simple, but the outdoor cooking space helped. The BBQ was great. Would 100% stay at Tennyson again with Emma & Jon.

This was the perfect family-friendly spot. Impressed by the attention to detail! The host stocked the kitchen with essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Communication was seamless! The hosts were responsive and extremely welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The host even brought us some fresh eggs in the morning which was lovely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be coming back!

This home in Thorneside was an absolute dream. Perfect location with the most beautiful scenery. The house was fresh and clean the moment we arrived which I always appreciate. Iris has been helpful and informative during our stay. A great convenience is the local playground which was a 5min walk, great for kids. Highly recommend this property. Would book again in future.

My family flew from the Philippines for my wedding and they’ve felt right at home as soon as they entered the house—and had the best time throughout their stay! My family and I stayed at Jay’s property whilst visiting family in nearby Darra, and wow what a property! All was perfectly clean upon arrival, with beautifully made bedrooms and well stocked bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable and all double bedrooms offered wardrobe space so we were able to fully unpack. The outside space was fantastic and we used the pool each day. The aircon in each room was effective and fans sufficient overnight to keep the rooms comfortable. The property has a kayak available, along with buoyancy aid, which we thoroughly enjoyed using out on the lake. The area is very residential suburban, but this was not a problem for us as had hired a car anyway, and shops were only a short drive away. Jay was super fast at responding to my messages, could not fault him as a host at all. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and built some great memories at the property. If the situation arises, we would love to come again in the future!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Marie's gorgeous property. Highly recommended! It is peaceful, in a really quiet neighbourhood, extremely clean and just close to where we needed to go to everyday for our activities, which was Manly. Everything was exactly as described and in the photos. Marie was really accommodating, friendly and flexible. The aircon was a godsend during this summer, and there are separate aircons in each bedroom. The high stools at the kitchen made it convenient for a quick breakfast everyday. The full-size fridge was another godsend, as we cooked most of our meals. And there are plenty of towels and bath mats! There is an IGA, bakery, butcher and chemist less than a 5-minute drive away at Manly Village, and at Wynnum Plaza less than a 10-minute drive away are Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and the awesome Super Butcher. Thank you Marie for sharing your property with us and making our stay at Brisbane so awesome.

John is a responsive host. He's so kind to offer to carry my luggage inside. The room is as described. The first time I came, it was so clean and neat.

The best place I've ever stayed at. Hannah is super friendly, very open-minded. I felt immediately welcome. The apartment is very clean, quiet and the area is just perfect and beautiful. Hannah is very familiar with the area and gives really very good recommendations for activities/restaurants etc.

Very cozy place to stay and a very responsive and caring host. Close to public transport as well for ease of travels.

House was really clean and comfortable.I was alone at the house,so I had private.Even though Monica wasn't at the house,she explained really well for me and always answered quickly.Thank you for great stay!

Great location and amenities, keypass doesn't work on all entries but you'll figure out the working ones pretty quickly.

Loved this place. Central for a lot of places. Restaurant's right on your doorstep. Citycat a few seconds walk. The flat was well equipped and spotless. Host was always ready to help with anything. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had! The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and exactly as shown in the photos. I especially loved the balcony view—it was the perfect spot to relax. The building also had great amenities like the gym, swimming pool, and direct access to the casino and terrace, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Wendy was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout. Check-in was smooth, and everything I needed was provided. I genuinely felt at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

The place was fantastic. It was in a great location, clutter free, with great views and amenities. And Rajitha was super helpful, friendly and made things so much easier!

Was an absolute amazing place to stay and so close to Brisbane. the wood fired pizza oven was awesome and made our pizzas tasty. Thank you to Craig for lighting it. Everything we required was there and the bonus of dry wood for the fireplace on a cold night was perfect.

We had such an awesome stay in midway cottage such beautiful scenery and very relaxing with lots to do and see highly recommended staying we will be back and being dog friendly is a big 5 stars

Jo was so hospitable, she met us on arrival & had lots of local knowledge to impart. Lovely comfortable cottage with some goodies in the fridge for us to start with. The location was great, close to the beach with other amenities just a short drive away. We would definitely love to stay again.

Beautiful spot, not far from the city but away from it all. Feels more remote than it is. Space for alot of people. So many activities or just lay about the pool.
