Vacation rentals with a hot tub in South Austin

We had an incredible weekend stay at this beautiful home with our group of 15 college friends! The house exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout, perfect for a big group. The outdoor spaces were amazing, with large decks and plenty of seating areas where we could relax and socialize. But what really made our stay stand out was the fantastic selection of games and activities! We spent hours playing table tennis and pickle ball, and the house had everything we needed for a fun and entertaining weekend. We would highly recommend this home to any large group or family looking for a memorable getaway. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Great place to stay especially if you have a family.

We truly enjoyed our visit. The Airbnb was beautiful, the rooms and beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was amazing. However the star of the show was the backyard, my children love nature and gardening so we were able to appreciate Matt’s beautiful garden while enjoying the weather.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Austin! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our family of three adults and two teens had plenty of space and enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay! The house is set in a beautiful location, and the pool was definitely the highlight of our trip. Mike was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved exploring the area—there were so many great attractions nearby. Would absolutely recommend!

We were a group of five ladies on a "Girls Trip". Everyone in the group loved the house. It was furnished beautifully and had all the amenities any group would want and enjoy. Our hosts' communication was quick and helpful. The home location is close enough to the airport and downtown for ease and the area surrounding it had all the amenities one would need. We all said that if we returned to Austin together or with our own family's we would want to stay at this place once again. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Nice airbnb for a bachelor(ette) party, with plenty of room and a great outdoor area. Short drive from downtown. Not much to do within walking distance though - you will need to uber

Helpful instructions, easy check-in process, and overall great house to stay in!

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

Our weekend getaway was an exceptional experience. The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was well-maintained, plenty of beds and startup amenities. The location was ideal for us, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, with a view of the lake from several rooms. The dock on the lake was a plus for fishing. Whether you’re into outdoor adventures or looking for a relaxing retreat, this spot caters to both. The backyard was a highlight, with a pool/hot tub, seating area and BBQ grill. Game room and pool table were a hit as well. Communication with the host was seamless; they were prompt in responding to messages and provided thorough instructions for check-in and check-out. Overall, this vacation rental met our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay in Lago Vista and would definitely return!

We loved falcons nest. Beautiful property. Looks like the pictures. We were able to get quick responses all weekend. It was a peaceful yet enjoyable birthday weekend. The gate entrance is hard to find from the dark road. And I was a bit bummed to leave out two more of my close friends that couldn't even visit the property during the day (No day guests past the 10 guests permitted to stay.). But I understood the 10 person max guideline and previous issues they've had with too many guests. We'd definitely return.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!

Annette was an amazing host. The space was amazing and was exactly what I expected based off of the photos. Annette was very proactive and very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying in Lake Travis and it was such a memorable stay! Everything was absolutely perfect. We wanted to spend our spring break in a quiet location where we could get away from our busy lives and this was pure perfection for that. Everything from the bedding to the pool to the views were everything and more. Our daughters spent most of the time in the Airstream which they thought was the next thing ever. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for amazing views and a relaxing time. We can’t wait to go back.

This was our 1st Airbnb experience and it was fantastic. The area is absolutely stunning. Kelly was very responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for the eclipse. It was a really nice space, clean, and had a lot of beds. The hosts were super responsive to all our needs. They even left us eclipse glasses, Moonpies, Sun Chips, and Eclipse gum, which was very thoughtful. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay near Lake Travis.

Great stay! My family had a wonderful stay, peaceful and quiet area. Close to Austin, and surrounding towns, great for big families. Only downfall was due to weather and not being able to use the pool.

We stayed two nights for a girls trip and it was perfect! The outside area was so nice to sit with a glass of wine and the neighborhood is peaceful and very walkable. We would definitely return.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful, serene cottage. The home was spotless, warm, and inviting—perfectly tucked away with visits from birds and deer that added to the charm. We especially loved the screened-in porch, the cozy outdoor fire pit area, and the massive swim spa. The shaded backyard was a dream, and the secure fence made it perfect for our two small dogs. Everything about the vibe was just right. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Great place to getaway for some peace and quiet outside of the city. Close enough to Wimberley and the surrounding attractions that it’s easy to get anywhere you need to go.

This place was perfect for a couples getaway! It was 5 minutes from Wimberley Square and a short drive to San Antonio. We absolutely loved it!
