From start to finish our space is a delight! Inside a treasure of bespoke woodwork and thoughtful design creates a stunning 'traditional meets modern' space you will enjoy for its beauty and flow. It offers handpainted shiplap ceilings, real antique cedar/stone walls, custom cabinetry, dimmable lights, full kitchen, easy access outlets and a private entrance from the side courtyard, a lovely place to sit and enjoy our incredible edible yard with berries, figs, fruit, herbs, &veggies growing.

New guest house built in back of main house accessible by the back alley. Close to South Congress shopping area. Its completely separate from the front house , has one bedroom and a full bath downstairs with a full kitchen and living room upstairs. The kitchen has a combination microwave / convection oven and a two burner electric induction hot plate in the cabinets. All kitchen utensils , pots and pans, drip coffe maker , and electric kettle Are included in the kitchen. Pets under 25 lbs.

Our backyard guesthouse is located in a friendly, funky, and quiet neighborhood. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle but only 12 min to Downtown and East Austin. Trendy neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Less than 2 miles from St. Elmo Brewery, Austin Winery, and Still Whiskey and food trucks. 3 miles to South Congress! 12 min from the airport and 20 min to COTA. 7 min walk to 4911 Menchaca/Jones bus stop, Line 3. We're happy to have you here!

South Lamar Zilker Cottage

Less than a block from the city bus line, our garage apartment is vintage with an urban feel. Hi-speed internet and ROKU TV. The cottage comfortably fits two and is within walking distance to many South Lamar bars and restaurants and Zilker. Outdoor deck and offstreet parking too. (Please note that there is an additional $25 fee for early check in or late check out. We often can accommodate, but need an early request if you choose to utilize this option. Thank you.)
