Apartment vacation rentals in Sortland

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

What a find!! Mona’s place was everything we could have dreamed of for a stay in Svolvær! The apartment was cosy, comfortable and provided all the goods needed for a relaxing stay including balcony chairs, a washing machine and a very handy microwave! The location is absolutely perfect! Within easy walking distance to the pier and wharf for tours and all the shops and restaurants in town. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and helps set the relaxing vibe of the place! Mona was incredibly helpful, approachable and informative- even ordering us a taxi to the airport for which we were very grateful! Finding the place and getting inside was so simple and the included car spot came in very handy as hiring a car is the best way to explore the Lofoten islands! I can’t recommend Mona’s place highly enough and thank her sincerely for such a memorable and enjoyable stay! ☺️💖

We loved our stay! The place was everything we wanted and more. Great location, walkable to Devils gate and the downtown Svolvær. The apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet! Would stay again and highly recommend.

As we enjoyed in the apartment! Perfect location to be able to walk around Henningsvær and look at everything that is there! The view from the apartment was 10/10! Fitted us perfectly when we were a group of 5. Played games, cooked great food, and enjoyed the time we had there!🤩 Also got tips for top trip from the host and they responded quickly! An amazing place to spend your travel days. It’s creative, contemporary, lots of natural light and all white and woody. It’s so beautifully done that you feel like not stepping out. Loved the place, loved the surrounding, loved the warmth of Marco and the awesome local tips and recommendations that made the trip all the more memorable! From the Lofoten Vibes to works best cinnamon rolls, to the fire place to the varied book collection and the outstanding balcony view!!! Thanks a lot Marco and hope to visit again :)

This is one of my favorite AirBnbs ever. It is right by the water, walkable to everything you need in Svolvær—groceries, car rental, bars, restaurants, saunas, shops, cafes—and it was very peaceful. I spent my mornings in the enclosed back patio where you can see mountains towering over you (and sometimes a fat grey cat prowling around!). Sarah was a superb host-responsive, kind, and even left me a cold beer, which I needed after a long travel day. You probably can’t find a better place to stay in town.

Borge and Anne’s place is a lovely, cozy and well maintained apartment. It’s clear that they love very much their own place and now they share it with travellers like us. It’s located in a peaceful and quiet settlement, slightly off the track of the main tourist spots but easy to reach with a car. Yet, surrounded by beautiful views and great for falling asleep while looking at the NORTHERN LIGHTS out of the bedroom window. Recommended for a family of 4. Thank you Borge and Anne

We stayed 2 nights in Hans' residence. It is a super cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The jacuzzi is also really wonderful! It is quietly located and the ideal base for a trip in the Vesterålen. We will definitely come back here when we are in the region again!

Nice place with good view.

We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

An incredibly great apartment and very nice and helpful host. Convenient with location close to the regular boat dock. Magical views through the panoramic windows in the living room. Great opportunities for the outdoors. Recommended!

Great place, easy to reach, perfect for a stop during a roadtrip

We had an amazing stay with Tore and is wife. They are amazing hosts. Their place id in an amazing location, with the best view of Eidet and the mountains, and the house as everything you need to have a great stay and relax. It was exactly what we were looking for for our holidays. If we didn't have already booked another stay we would stay more days at Tore place

Set of 2 recently renovated apartments, tastefully decorated, antique furniture mixed with modern comfort and very beautiful equipped kitchens. The smaller one upstairs is more suitable for 2 (or 2+1 child)because even if the sofa can accommodate 1 additional person, the space to live is more limited and in Norway it sometimes rains. The Rch apartment has a bathroom and a living room with kitchen /counter much larger, very comfortable for 4. The building is on a dock. no noise disturbances (but we were there on a holiday). Pleasant windows and underfloor heating. Walkers on the dock passing against the building, the blinds of the Rch apartment are appreciated. Beautiful stop on our road to the South.

The loft is wonderful and Maximiliam a magnificent host. The dream place. If you visit Vesteralen do not hesitate to stay here. In addition, Maximiliam is very attentive to everything, there are basics for cooking, a huge TV,... It is simply perfect.
