Monthly Rentals in Sorong

Incredible experience to have one day stay here and have a great fun with Mitshi and her whole big family. People came to Sorong as a transit hub and if you also have one day free and happen to be interested in local culture and view, then this is the best and easiest way that you can have a glance of local Papua people on how’s their life and living, how they looks like and direct talk with them. Mitshi is super nice and her whole family are very warm welcoming us , they prepared welcome dancing and we also experienced local customs and know a bit about local tribes and culture, and also taking a lot of interesting photos! We’ve been taking very well by Mitshi and her husband and I felt also touched about her motivation and action to pretext her home place and culture. Whatever you just pass by for a short visit or stay overnight, this is the good one to close to local.

Pak Alberth is a great host, listing is as described, the room is compact, clean & comfortable with AC & the hot water is really hot. Delicious Indonesian Breakfast is provided, tea & coffee station is available in the common area. Feel right at home & nice atmosphere. You can hear morning prayer call at 4h30 due to proximity to a mosque like everywhere in Indonesia, but we didn't mind. This is a great place for a stopover before you go to Raja Ampat. I would prefer to stay in this homestay rather than in a hotel for the local experience. Great recommendation for the seafood restaurant & you can rent his motorbike for a fee.
