Charming Rock 17th Village House Pool

The character of the house, the architecture as well as the interior decoration full of original antiques pieces carefully selected by the antique dealer owner has an absolutely unique handwriting and offers you an unforgettable aesthetic, original and romantic experience. Guests are welcome to use the owner's 12-meter-lap-pool, shared with his 3 other rentals, situated in his unique calm closed magic garden accessed within 20 meters from your front door by walking on the calm alley around the house. Outside just at the entrance of the apartment, there are a couple of chairs and a table in front of the main door, where it is possible to have breakfast or a drink, a chat with passing people or neighbours. From there you enter into the sitting-room with a cool stone floor and a fireplace, furnished with armchairs and table for a nice calm relaxing moment. The snug and stylish bathroom and the toilet are separated from each other and tucked away on either side of the passage that leads from the sitting-room to the kitchen. You find your own washing machine for clothes in the bathroom. The vaulted kitchen/dining-room at the other end of the passage is well-equipped and has a table with chairs. It opens onto a bright, covered patio, partly hewn out of the rock, with white-washed stone walls and numerous plants. Here you will find a dining table, as well as long masonry benches with comfortable cushions, where it is possible to stretch out to read or have a siesta. Two steps from the covered patio lead you down into the bedroom, equipped with twin-beds and an oak floor with underfloor heating. It will appeal to everyone who loves an aesthetically unique and novel experience. Parking: You can unload your baggage at the house and park you car free of charge a one minute's walk away on the convenient public parking of the village. Linen, Pool Towels: all included Information about Goult and the Area: At the heart of the « Triangle D’Or », Goult is an ideal base for exploring the many surrounding villages, as well as larger towns such as Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, all within 15mins to 1hr30mins' drive away. All amenities, restaurants, bar, coffee places, the famous 'Cafe de la poste', groceries, bakery, butcher, fromagerie, market on thursday with regional products, as well as a couple of little shops with local handmade art, regional products and antiques are all one-minute’s walk away to be explored. Walks up to the windmill, the castle, the church through the little peaceful winding streets of the village as well as gorgeous walks directly from the village into the beautiful nature, eg. natural terrasses, views, lavender fields and partly through light forests are highly recommended. Electronic bicycles are possible to be rented in Coustellet or Apt to discover the surrounding area. Additionally you can visit the owners 'Borie‘, an original habitation by the rural population of the region in the ancient times, where you can have your picnic. Picnic-blankets to sit on are lent by the owner for that occasion. The 'Borie‘ is a 5 mins walk away. Guests are welcome to use the owner’s 12-meter lap-pool, situated in the quiet and secluded magic adjoining owner's garden. This absolutely unique garden will offer you an exceptional memorable souvenir, welcoming you to use all amenities available such as 2 relaxing lay matts surrounded by trees to cover you with the necessary shadow, a daybed hidden in a vaulted corner by the pool as well as a rocking chair with a shower in another vaulted alcove by the pool. There are little terraces to be wandered around and a table with chairs to have your meal in that paradise. I live next-door, and are happy to answer your questions and offer suggestions if needed. Goult is known by locals as the "hidden village" of the Luberon, and is appreciated for its pleasant, authentic atmosphere. There are good restaurants in the village as well as the Café de la Poste which is popular with locals and tourists alike. You can unload your baggage at the house and park you car free of charge a one minute walk away on the convenient public parking of the village. GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TRIP TO GOULT A 2 days stay at Goult is a minimum, ideal would be 4 days or more. Reservations at the restaurants in Goult and the Luberon are necessary. The restaurants are often fully booked 1 or 2 weeks ahead. Think of reserving ahead of time !!! For cooking at home, all my 3 apartments have well equipped kitchens. Coffee and tee are provided. No wonder a guest wrote this is the best apartment in Europe! it's a luxury apartment perfectly located in the 'intra muros' central area on a quiet road in the pedestrian centre with supervised car parking nearby. It's ½ minute walk to the central Place de l'Horloge and 2 minutes to the Palais des Papes. It's designed for couples with everything you could need including air con throughout and fast wifi for people who need to work. A unique mix of location and peace.
