Vacation rentals in Song Khwae

I spent three wonderful nights at David's. It was a real experience I won't forget especially as I come from the inner city. It was lovely to wake up to fresh air and jungle sounds. It's such a peaceful place, very thoughtfully designed with great views from the windows. Lottie, the dog, was delightful too. I used David's bike to get around which was easy and fun. I only regret not taking more effective mosquito repellent so I could have have eaten out in the evening without getting bitten as much. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Little House in the Forest and hopefully I'll visit again one day. Thanks David!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The property was spotless and exceeded expectations. The garden and grounds were beautiful and very tranquil. The pool was fantastic but unfortunately we were only staying for one night as we were driving the Mea Hong Song loop and did not get time to use it. Perfect place to stay for exploring Doi Inthanon national park and surrounding area. The breakfast was very very good and plentiful. Would highly recommend and only wished we could of stayed longer

I booked 2 nights and extended it by one night as I really enjoyed it. Suthep is very accommodating and friendly. One evening we cooked and ate together, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend the place, but recommend having your own car or motorcycle, as it is very remote.

We spent a beautiful weekend at the Cabin with two families. It is in a superb location right by Doi Inthanon National Park. The house has everything you could ever need, and a lovely homely feel to relax and play games and hang out after a day of hiking and waterfalls. The facilities are top-quality with a real attention to detail. The morning light is also stunning, and the kids loved the pedalos in the little lake. The enclosed veranda with daybeds and the dining table with full french windows looking to onto the gardens is really a nice spot! We would definitely recommend this place for families or a group of friends looking for a comfortable base to explore Doi Inthanon from. The food from the nearby restaurant was also very reasonably priced and delicious. The hosts were super helpful and responsive, though we had nothing to really ask them for as the place is so perfectly set up and all the instructions and directions clear from the start. We will definitely be back!

I had such a wonderful and peaceful stay here. P’mong, P’Ging, and the host’s lovely mom made me feel like family and even cooked delicious homemade meals for me, truly some of the best food I had in Thailand. The host was always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed, which made me feel so cared for. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature: far from the city, but still close to the airport, with transportation available if needed. You’ll hear and see insects everywhere, but that’s part of the charm and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an experience to get out of the city and enjoy nature.

I had an absolutely blissful stay with the host Nepat couldn’t have been more helpful. Recommendations were provided for everything needed and the service provided in cleaning, cooking and doing my washing couldn’t have been better. This small house had a cosy, warm, clean and mediative feeling. Perfect for two people to share. You are surrounded by greenery and natural materials. Somporn lives next door with her family, dog and cat who are very well behaved and do not bother you at all. You can wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise from bed, bird watch, reflect and relax. The lake view is also a very lovely feature. There wasn't much of a walk to do in the area, or anything else really if you don't have transport so it is a place that allows little activity. We would've enjoyed this house a lot more if the house wasn't on the main road. The road noise is intrusive and sometimes there were street vendors right outside the door making noise. Somporn was a very communicative, helpful and respectful host and was always available to help. I really recommend to order from the local farm shop advertised, receiving the produce really made our stay a lot more interesting and the produce was great.

We were very happy with the accommodation. The cottage was as described. The included dinner was prepared locally and very fresh. The host gave lots of tips and was always available to answer questions. He was also very helpful in organizing transfers. The cottage is a bit remote, which is perfect for nature lovers.
