Oasis on the countryside near Hamburg

Northwest of Hamburg in beautiful Schleswig Holstein is our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator, a shower room and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. Distance is the Horster train stop. There is a parking space and bicycle parking spaces.

The 60 sqm apartment is on the top floor of a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the outskirts of Hamburg. I live on the ground floor. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach Hamburg in about 40 minutes. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.

The in-law is located in Kellinghusen in the immediate vicinity of the Stör and the Aukrug Nature Park. The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, e.g. for canoe tours and excursions by bike. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right around. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

Welcome to our small and lovingly furnished thatched cottage "Kleine Auszeit." Here between the moor and the Elbe, you can really enjoy your well-deserved vacation. The wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue invites you to linger. If you feel like taking a canoe tour, our canoe is at your disposal, because opposite our cottage there is a canal on which you can drive around a little between meadows and fields.

Enjoy the peace of mind at this charming thatched-roof home. The A23 exit Elmshorn-Horst is only 5 minutes away – Hamburg's center can be reached in 30 minutes, the airport in 20. For excursions, the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea are just an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you. The guest room offers storage facilities for your luggage. A TV, Wi-Fi and Caffisimo machine is at your disposal. There are drinks + snacks in the minibar. The bathroom is equipped with, shower, toilet, hair dryer and towels. Air conditioner is bookable. Pets are welcome. The room can be completely darkened. Opposite is our bistro/cafe "Uncle Paul", where you can reserve a table for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
