Apartment vacation rentals in Somerset County

We ended up in town a little early so we grabbed lunch in Somerset (cute town!). After lunch, Ed was kind enough to let us in prior to check in so we could relax for a little bit before we headed out to hike and venture back into Somerset for some groceries. Ed was super nice and helpful as we planned out what we were going to do that day. Our stay was pretty peaceful with the exception of people fishing in the water right outside the house during the day. We felt there was a lot to do in the area or easy to drive to. The one night, we just wanted to grab something close by so decided to grab a pizza at Rustic Mountain Pizza. It was super convenient to get to, but unless you enjoy super sweet pizza, I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back if back in the area.

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

We had such a nice and relaxing stay at the Hideaway! Dinner at Green Gables was amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They also provided complimentary breakfast every morning which was really nice. They even mailed back to us an item we accidentally left behind! We would definitely come back again!

We had an amazing stay at the house. The comfort and coziness, combined with the beautiful nature and atmosphere of the creek and surrounding land was perfect for us! The owner was extremely helpful and considerate. One of our group members unfortunately got a flat tire, and the owner offered to help us out! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend stay in a relaxing mountainous venue, or for a great weekend on the nearby slopes! Will recommend to friends! Thanks for letting us stay here!

Very convenient to the GAP for biking. We had a couple of minor issues, but these were addressed quickly. The beds were comfortable.

Great stay at Valerie's place. She made check-in very easy with proactive and clear instructions. She was also very responsive to messages. The place has lots of space, and is only about 25 minutes from Seven Springs ski resort.

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

Paul's place was accurately represented in both description and photos. Paul was a very responsive host, easy to reach and quick to answer any questions. Check-in was easy; check-out instructions were simple and clear. The place is nicely located in the small town of Windber, PA but close enough to walk to local restaurants and the coffee shop. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.

Keith was so kind and helpful. The place was comfortable and just as he described in the listing. We came for our son’s wedding and will stay again every time we need to come up to visit family.

We immensely enjoyed out stay at Wendy's condo. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. It was spacious enough for our group of seven. My wife especially enjoyed the comfort of the mattress in the master bedroom. The location was great. We were there for the skiing at Hidden Valley. The condo is located with easy access to the top of the Blizzard Ski Lift, and we had a good ground cover of snow which made for ski in/out. Wendy was a super host. Very responsive to inquiries from me and other people in or group. She was even responsive afterwards when we ask for information on where she purchased the master bedroom mattress. We would definitely go back there again.

Andrea was a great host! She was extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible. Her space was exactly as described, and even included amenities I wasn’t expecting, like q-tips in the bathroom. My only suggestion would be to let guests know there is a moderate walk to access the space; it could be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Everything was great! Ski and board right up to the units back door. Some stomping from kids above us but otherwise very nice and clean place. Would stay again!

The space was perfect. It was very charming and cozy in addition to peaceful. It was very clean and the host, Barb, was very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend.
