Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sololá Department

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

Si estás buscando un lugar lindo, pero tranquilo, donde puedas descansar, un lugar privado, íntimo este es el lugar en San Pedro La Laguna, que hermoso lugar, es todo lo que está bien.

La pasamos muy bien con mi familia. El lugar era acogedor, limpio y muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo lo que necesitábamos. Se sentía como en casa, con detalles que hicieron nuestra estancia cómoda y especial. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. Sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí. ¡Gracias por todo!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

We had a great stay! The views were stunning & definitely worth the hike up. The house was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had all the basics you need. Communication was great and made the entire trip a very smooth process - from putting us in contact with airport shuttles, boat captains, etc & giving great recommendations. Only note to other travellers is the water pressure is extremely light, so if you have very thick hair you may not be able to wash it with the little pressure. Otherwise 10/10 stay!

la casa muy linda, limpia, amplia y super comoda. no tiene aire acondicionado ni ventiladores pero el resto super bien.

Spacious home with incredible views, we all felt at home and comfortable. While slightly out of the tourist core, it was only a short tuk tuk away or a nice stroll into the busy area. Highly recommend.

don't hesitate to book this place!! such an incredible, magical stay. it was even better than the pictures in person, its your own private treehouse overlooking the lake. antonio & sara were incredible hosts & very helpful/responsive. antonio was able to refill our filtered water when we got low no problem, and even brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers & food for the cat that likes to sleep on the patio :) we stayed for a week and didn't find neighbour noise to be loud whatsoever-the village goes silent around 11pm. beautiful views of the sunrise & sunset/3 volcanoes. the bed is very comfy & kitchen is well equipped. this place is WELL worth its amazing price, cannot recommend it enough!

A beautiful, comfortable , well appointed home set in the midst of the most breathtaking vista you could imagine. The view of the lake and volcanos is expansive and ever changing with the time and weather, but always awe inspiring. The pool and jacuzzi were a relaxing treat after a day of exploring! The interior was sparkling clean and very comfortable.

The best view I’ve ever had at an Airbnb! The balcony was a dream, and the grounds that the apartment is based on are gorgeous. Deedle and Claudia were super responsive and helpful, and Diego was a superstar! We loved our time here.

Was a pleasure to stay here! Away from the noisy city, amazing hosts who helped us with everything we wanted ( fan was broken and they got us a new one right away), they also have an amazing Italian restaurant that they give us a discount for, beautiful place, a view of the lake, great WiFi, it’s a walk from town (which we loved to get our steps in) or a Q10 per person tuk tuk

We had a lovely stay, the view is amazing and it’s very calm and peaceful, but still relatively quick to get to the centre of San Pedro (20 min walk). We would definitely come back!

Great spot! The apartment is on a quiet street off the main shopping area of Panajachel. Felt very safe and comfortable. Hot showers, beautiful outdoor area, and very spacious. Host was very accommodating for early/late check in and answered questions promptly. Within 10 minutes of ferry. Would highly recommend and stay again if looking for a retreat in town.

El lugar tiene una ubicación genial! A 2 minutos de la calle Santander (la calle principal de Pana), pero lo suficientemente lejos para el ruido de la calle no sea molesto. La suite tiene todo lo que necesitas y todo funciona a la perfección, lo único que hay que considerar es que si el hotel esta lleno, el area social y lugares de desayuno (que estan a la par de la suite) si producen bastante ruido a la habitación, si tenes sueño profundo esto no será problema. Por lo demas es un lugar que recomiendo para tener una muy buena estadía en Panajachel. Tanto para familia, amigos o parejas.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay. The view of San Pedro from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! I ended up spending more time at the unit in the hammock for that reason. There is no A/C (as most accommodations in the area) but you can leave the windows open to cool down at night (I didn’t have any insect problems during my stay). The unit is situated between San Pedro and San Juan so you’ll have easy access to both areas via tuktuk. San Pedro is a loud nightlife area so bring ear plugs (also what other guests have mentioned in their reviews so I was aware when I had booked this). I’m not sure if there are any other spots that you could get the same view without the noise. The unit is outside of the main busy areas so there aren’t any restaurants nearby but it’s really easy to grab a tuktuk right out front for very little (10-15 GTQ). Clemente was also very kind and very responsive. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here.

Alejandro's place was great! We loved the 360 view and the outdoor shower. It was great seeing the sunrise from the balcony every morning! Host is very responsive and helpful as well. Something to note - the neighborhood has a lot of roosters crowing all night, and because the metal roof is not completely closed, it might be hard for some people to get a good night's sleep. By no means is this the place's fault though, but just to be aware if you're a light sleeper! Everything else was awesome, very clean and good amenities! Drinking water in the kitchen, warm showers, good working faucet, a desk to work at, a bench on the balcony! Power outlets were also abundant and there's a good working ceiling fan:) Thanks, Alejandro!

Excelente servicio, higiene, instrucciones claras, servicios de excelente calidad, un poco alejando de la zona viva pero se podía llegar en tuktuk sin problema alguna, muy amigable don Cirilo.

Stayed for 3 nights and loved it! Andrea is very responsive to messages and helpful. The place was beautiful and was perfect to watch the morning sunrise. It is about a 20min walk to town but she gives you info for a tuktuk driver who is also reliable. No issue with bugs or scorpions like I’ve seen in reviews for other hostels/airbnbs/hotels. Overall would stay here again if I return to Guatemala
