Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sokndal

Perfect stay for our Christmas holiday! The house was decorated, beautiful, and very large. The kids couldn’t stay out of the pool and hot tub! Host was very very accommodating, and the location was breath taking! Id do it again in a heart beat :) very pleased.

Øystein ist ein super Gastgeber, keine Frage blieb lange unbeantwortet und generell eine spitzen Kommunikation, auch in deutsch. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in seiner tollen Villa, ich vermisse diesen grandiosen Ausblick aus dem Wohn- und Essbereich. Daumen hoch Øystein, das war Klasse bei dir, Danke dafür..!!

Helt fantastisk plass! Jonas er en super vert, svarte raskt og kom meg gode anbefalinger. Kjøkkenet har det man trenger og stampen var et stort pluss. Anbefales på det sterkeste, vi kommer tilbake :)

We a family of 4 arrived at Magnar's cabin for one night and stayed for two. We did not get a chance to meet Magnar but he was available all the time and very nice. We found the cabin very easy. It was clean very quite and very well equiped. We even made our own bread and pizza ! The view, Oh the view... Magnifisent. Be aware there are no linnens or towels as it is the standard in cabins across Norway. Toilete has no flush water but we found it no problem at all !!! All in all it was great! Thanks Magnar!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable; lots of privacy as well. The owners are very nice people. They showed us a nearby waterfall (walking distance) where you can swim. Stavanger and the coast are nearby (30-45 min by car). Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Hans house. Really an AirBnb Jackpot according to the original spirit of AirBnb. The communication with Hans was super, clear and fast. The house was great, the kids loved the soccer field and playground just next door as well as the swing in the kitchen and of course the Nintendo. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. We were traveling by train, and could easily reach the beach and some nice hiking spots from the house. We highly recommend the place and we would definitely come back :)

We stayed at Kristine's house only one night, but I wish we stayed more... It was very nice experience. The apartment itself was even better than in the pictures and surroundings were great for a walk and exploring Norwegian nature. Also hospitality of the host was in the highest level. We really feeled welcomed there.

Gunhild is an absolutely wonderful host. Very welcoming and helpful in every way. This is our second time at the cabin and plan to come back again! The lake is amazing and Gunhilde allowed access to kayaks, paddleboards, and a nice rowboat. The cabin is in a quiet and peaceful place. I highly recommend this gem.

Wir haben uns schnell Wohlgefühl und es war alles im Haus vorhanden. Eine sehr schöne große Terrasse mit Blick auf das Wasser und den Sonnenuntergang. Es gibt viel in der Nähe zu entdecken und zu wandern. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Wir waren froh, Gast sein zu dürfen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit tollem Wohnzimmer und sehr schönem Garten mit Blick auf die Dünen. 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto zum Strand.

Vi var en storfamilie som leide, og det var et supert sted å bo på. Romslige senger og alle soverommene var i egen fløy, slik at de som ønsket kunne fortsette å være i stua uten å forstyrre sovende (barn). Siw Tone er veldig laid back som vert og enkel å få tak i og kommunisere med.

Helt suverænt ophold med 2 voksne, 2 store børn og en på 6. Mega hyggeligt hus og perfekt med anekset. Der mangler intet. Tæt på alt i byen og hyggelig lille strand med 3 min gå afstand. Kan virkelig anbefales

Det var et flott hus, vi brukte det for å overnatting hovedsaklig. Stille og rolig sted. Fantastisk utsikt mot Lista og havet.

Our group loved the place! We felt at home. It was peaceful, but at the same time we were offered to use some amenities in the area. Will definitely recommend this place to others!

The House was very clean and super cozy. It really felt like a home, on our vacation. The kitchen has everything you need, for all kind of cooking. Good WiFi and a nice view directly to a part of the harbor. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. The stairs up to the second floor are quite steep like you are on a ship, so maybe difficult for small toddlers or elderly people but definitely adds to the northsea feeling. The communication with Øystein was super easy, he answered right away, was very friendly and had great tips. Since he wasn't in town during our stay, our contact there was Arian, who was also very nice and checked that everything was ok. From Borhaug you also have a great access to various activities and there is a supermarket and a fresh fish shop very close (5 mins of walking). I definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting norway.

We had a wonderful stay in Bryne at Roy’s home. The house was just as pictured, very spacious, clean , and welcoming. We visit family in Bryne every few years and would absolutely stay at Roy’s place again, and would recommend to anyone!
