Kid-friendly vacation rentals in SoHo, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

The location is perfect to visit NY, Victoria is a really kind host and the flat is perfect !

Cozy and comfortable! The perfect place to stay for a 2 night trip. I had a concert to go to so this was convenient for me since it was near the area! Plus wasn’t too far from the airport. Will definitely be back in the future!

We had a great stay at Erika's place. We only needed a place for the night before the Brooklyn Half and this stay worked out well for us. There was clear communication ahead of time from the host regarding instructions for entering and questions regarding nearby parking options. The location worked out great for us and was nearby restaurants, bars, and the park. If there was any negative, it would be that the bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom were not the most comfortable for my grown sons, however, it was helpful to have 2 beds in the small extra bedroom so I can understand why they were chosen. Overall we had a great stay. We would definitely recommend Erika's place to others.

My husband & I spent a week in this gorgeous apartment. Great location with easy access to underground and walking to lots of restaurants & sightseeing. Very clean, well equipped and the views just stunning. Would highly recommend

I had a great time at the Mint House, me and my wife had a comfortable stay. It had a lot of great restaurants and things to do in the surrounding area. The host explained everything well, and it was a beautiful stay!

Great place! Met our needs and in an amazing location!

After spending two years working in Ukraine, I needed a peaceful and calming place to stay, while still being in a centrally located area. Alex's place offered both of these to me, with a sweet apartment, comfortable bed, and an easy communication with the host. The place was clean, had all I needed for cooking, and I was able to recuperate just as I hoped. I would stay in this apartment again.

This place is hands down, one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment was easy to find and looked just like the pictures. The unit is ground level however it is very quiet and you feel very safe. Everything was spotless and you can tell that Elgha takes great care of her property. Elgha is extremely responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

The location was close to ground Zero, Financial District, Subway train station. Felt very safe. Everything was clean in the room. I recommend staying there. We had plenty of room for 4 ladies. It’s very secure also. The rooftop was fun too.

Pearl was extremely responsive, had great communication, and was so friendly. We highly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb, it’s a city location so there’s a lot of city noise but it’s NY so we were expecting that. Although outside surroundings didn’t feel the safest to go around alone at night, it was easy to find food, places to go out, it was extremely walkable, close to public transportation, and many people nearby were helpful. Would definitely stay again. Considering all the places I’ve stayed in NY, I think this was hands down the most comfortable spacious space I’ve stayed in. I literally will seek out this place whenever I travel (and have enough money) to NY. I really loved and enjoyed the stay and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay while visiting family. As I grew up in the area I know my way around, but easy to get around for anyone! The bay is a beautiful site when you walk up the block. There are many places to visit in walking distance as well as plenty of transportation choices withing walking distance. Plenty of places to eat as well, with many different choices of food. Nice private quite apartment, I will be staying again in the Fall.

This is the best air bnb experience I have ever had. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, curated thoughtfully, attention to detail, every comfort you could want and more. I was best man for a wedding, and this served as home base for the wedding party. They all also got air bnbs in NYC and it was just an onslaught on complaints - this air bnb was nothing but rave review. A big part of that was the host, Anthony. Anthony was extremely accomodating, responsive, generous, thoughtful, proactive - and kind. I am 100% going to be looking to stay here every time I come to NYC, I feel no desire to go anywhere else or even consider a hotel. If you're thinking about it, just do it - you will not regret it. 10/10!!!!

We had a great stay at Ken and Jasen's apartment! The location was great; walkable to many restaurants and cafes, as well as the Grove Street PATH station to easily commute into NYC. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, and well appointed. It was a comfortable stay for 2 nights for our family of 4. Would 100% stay here again on a future visit!

Being welcomed by the entire family to getting end to end support during the stay, it was a great experience staying at this bnb .. amazing view , kitchen fully stacked , very prompt response , extremely helpful attitude… would recommend stay here if you want to be just around NYC but don’t want the hustle bustle of the city

Great apartment, in a great location, especially if you want to see manhatten. it's rather far to brooklyn. maite was super supportive and always answered questions quickly.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is just like the photos, and in a lovely neighborhood with grocery, coffee, restaurants, subway, etc. nearby. The bed is super comfortable...amazing water pressure...all located in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here again!

Aj's Airbnb is extremely quiet and in a fabulous location near Stevens and all of the restaurants on Washington Street. The apartment is spacious with a super comfy sofa and great view of a church steeple out of the windows. The bed is also comfortable and the bedroom has a lot of storage with two closets and a dresser--I appreciated the full length mirror as well. The elevator is such a bonus when traveling with luggage and the wide, open staircase is also very nice for coming and going. AJ was very receptive and responsive when I contacted him with a question.
