Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

Promotions and events can be found on our website. TerraStay Farm offers sunrise-facing cottages in Saxapahaw within walking distance of the Haw River and all of Saxpahaw. The cottage is furnished with a queen bed with comfy linens (680-800 thread count), handmade furnishings, hickory hardwoods, a table for 4, a loveseat, coffee table, and a kitchenette. French press & fresh coffee is provided. We are permitted up to four guests. There are up to 2 rollaway twins available upon request, FCFS.

We love couples, solo adventurers, & furry friends who want one level beyond tent camping. Please understand there is very solar power lights. The Eco-Cabin is a rustic, 2-story hand built cabin in town. You'll enjoy the cabin, firepit, firewood, swing chairs, king size bed, linens, and a bathhouse with private toilet, sink and shower. We do allow pets for a 15$ pet fee per pet. There is parking and roaming rights to the surrounding 23.8 acres. We are convenient to the NC Zoo and Seagrove.

Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. Due to safety issues, the home is not suitable for children.
