Ik heb ontzettend genoten van 3 dag in Balk bij de erg vriendelijke Judith en Jeroen. Prachtige homestay, superschoon en netjes. Mooie omgeving op loopafstand van het Slotermeer. Mooie tuin met diverse sitjes waar je heerlijk relaxed kunt ontbijten en lezen. De omgeving is ook prachtig, in mijn ogen het mooiste deel van Friesland. Ik raad deze homestay 100% aan en ik zal hier zeker eens terugkeren. Heel erg bedankt voor alles!

Wat een fijn plekje. wij, gezin met 2 kinderen, 10 en 13, en 2 hondjes. Voor ieder een heerlijk verblijf. Wij genoten van de sauna en de rust, de kinderen van alles op het water en de hondjes genoten van de tuin en de wandelomgeving. Heel comfortabel huisje, fijne bedden en de sauna maakt het tot een luxe geheel.

Prachtige locatie dicht bij het prachtige Dokkum en de veerboot van Holwert. We konden in de tuin zitten genieten van het water en de weilanden en de rust, terwijl de kippen kwamen scharrelen. Prachtig uitzicht! Het huisje is klein maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Toilet en douche lijken gloednieuw en zijn smetteloos. Jacoba reageerde snel en gaf ons privacy (ze wonen achter). Goede matrassen, niet te zacht maar ook niet te hard.

Der Aufenthalt ist den Preis wert. Es lohnt sich allerdings, eine eigene Grundausstattung an Küchenzutaten dabei zu haben, wer mit der wunderbaren Aussicht aus der Küche auf s Meer ebenso wunderbar kochen möchte ;-). (Du wirst alles kaufen müssen- Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, Essig, Gewürze etc.) Der Jumbo im Ort ist aber ein super Einkaufsladen (7 Min. im Auto) und das nötigste gäbe es auch im Campingshop. 4 Minuten im Auto/10-15 Min. zu Fuss) Die Tücher für das Bad werden jedoch angeboten und sind inklusive. Da braucht man nichts mitbringen. Freut euch auf unvergessliche Tage am Meer!

Helaas was mijn eigen verblijf maar van zeer korte duur, omdat ik gedurende de eerste avond steeds zieker werd. Karin heeft ons (ik verbleef hier een weekendje met mijn beste vriendin) geholpen met de contactgegevens van de dokterswacht en daar kreeg ik naast antibiotica het advies om thuis uit te gaan zieken... Dus of mijn man mij rond middernacht nog op komen halen. Enorm jammer want het huisje had/heeft alles waar wij ons zo op hadden verheugd. Van een fijne eettafel om aan te kletsen, spelletjes te spelen, creatief bezig te zijn, tot een echt prachtig afgewerkte badkamer, goed uitgeruste keuken en een heerlijk bed (ik heb die middag daar al een paar uur ziekjes in doorgebracht dus die ervaring neem ik dan maar mee als "bonus". Mijn vriendin heeft de schitterende omgeving verder kunnen verkennen na mijn vertrek, zij bleef daar om alsnog te genieten van de rust en heeft dit met volle teugen gedaan! In de toekomst hopen we op een herkansing want dat is deze locatie zeker waard!

Wir haben 5 Nächte hier verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich. öffnet man die Haustür steht man in einem kleinen Flur, von dem aus geradeaus die recht steile Treppe in den zweiten Stock führt. Oben links (mit dem Blick auf den Kanal) steht 1 Einzelbett. Oben rechts ist das zweite Schlafzimmer mit einem 1,40m Bett und einem Einbauschrank. Zwischen den zwei Schlafzimmern ist das Badezimmer mit der Dusche und einem WC. Vom Flur aus gleich rechts führt die Tür in den offenen Wohn- Essbereich (Sofa, Tisch, 4 Stühle , 1 Hocker) mit offener Küche. Von der Küche aus gelangt man zur Gästetoilette und in den Außenbereich : Terrasse und nach einer kleinen Treppe steht links der Schuppen (Waschmaschine und Abstellbereich ) mit Blick auf den Kanal. Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Gut zu wissen: - Hintertür öffnet man, indem man beim Drehen des Schlüssels die Klinke nach oben schiebt. -Bett ist eher weich und auch schon etwas durchgelegen Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Het vakantiehuisje is zoals op de foto's en van alle gemakken voorzien! Aan alles is gedacht. Aan de tafel zit je heerlijk met zicht op het water waar veel vogels te zien zijn. Toen wij aankwamen lag er sneeuw en ijs dat was prachtig om te zien. In de tweede helft van de week was het zo warm dat we buiten konden zitten. Wij hebben genoten van de plek en de stilte. Mariska and her family are extremely welcoming and great people. They have a folder in the tiny house that describes everything you’d want to know. Spending time on a farm with all these animals was incredibly calming and peaceful. 10/10 would visit again if in the area!

Gezellig, schoon en ruimtelijk appartement. De communicatie met Christa was vlot en vriendelijk. We zijn heel netjes ontvangen door de vader van Christa. Opstaan met uitzicht op de weilanden was heerlijk!

We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht bij Aagje in Een-West. Mooie ruime woning met heerlijke tuin erbij. Goede bedden.We troffen heerlijk zonnig weer. Omdat het nog vroeg in het jaar is,was het ook heerlijk om einde middag nog lekker in de iglo-kas te zitten;waar het was opgewarmd door het zonnetje. Aagje is een hele lieve gastvrouw;vrolijk,belangstellend en altijd bereid om info te geven over de mooie omgeving. Een-West bied je de kans om in Drenthe,Groningen en Friesland rond te kijken…. Wat een heerlijk verblijf. Het huisje was hartstikke netjes en schoon. Goed contact met de host en snelle reactie. Alles was aanwezig en voor de kinderen genoeg speelgoed. Kortom een zeer goed verblijf gehad.

Anna ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Chalet hatte eine schöne, ruhige Lage. Nah am Wasser. War ausgestattet wie beschrieben. Alles da, was man braucht. Es war sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank für alles! 😊
