Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Smižany

Very nice house, looks better in life than the pictures. 5mun drive to city main street. Located right beside one sky mountain. Also towels where included, in description written that not.

This property is in a lovely quiet location and is easy to find. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and handover was smooth. On the whole a great level of equipment. We did ask for a cot for our toddler. A travel cot was provided but unfortunately one panel was missing so our toddler could easily get out. We had to put the open end against a wall and lodge it with a chair which worked. There are two unguarded flights of stairs, the second is very steep. For parents of a lively toddler this was not ideal! We checked before travelling to see whether there was a BBQ and took food accordingly. Unfortunately the BBQ had no bottom to it! We improvised. There is an enclosed log burner inside which provided great heat. However the front glass got red hot and there was no fire guard. Again not ideal when there is a toddler around. On the whole I would recommend but take note of the above.

A lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood with space for all 12 people, very good location for hikes from the train and friendly hosts. Would stay again !

We rented a place for Christmas holidays, the house had a Christmas tree with string lights and various scenery on the windows it was very nice to feel the Christmas mood in the accommodation. The house was very clean, the bedroom window has a nice view of the High Tatras, there is also a separate parking.

The location is priceless, with a view of the lake. The fireplace was a super-bonus at the beginning of November. The place is just as it looks in the photos, but in reality, it is much better. This place is perfect for those who like to retreat to nature in subdued conditions. We were there with three kids and did not miss a thing there. It was really spiritual experience.

Great place with a character. Spacious living room and bedroom and would definitely recommend it to couples and small families. Approx 20 minutes walk from the bus station, 10 minutes walk to the Zakopane Thermal Baths, 5 minutes away from large size shop and around 10 minutes to the main Krupowki street and restaurant. Really pleased with the location and size of the apartment. Apart from towels and toilet rolls In the apartment there was also some sugar, salt and pepper and washing up liquid but we needed to get our own tea, coffee, shower gel and shampoo - although this was not a problem at all :) Would definitely recommend and definitely come back.

Great place to stay with a big company! 12 of us spent a night here before our hike to Rysy, we had a really nice time here - had a barbeque outside, by the fire pit, with enough seats to accommodate all of us; then moved inside and played some board games by the fireplace, while some of us went to sleep in the far room without our noise bothering them. Very peaceful place surrounded by hills, with no light pollution so you can actually see the stars above you:)

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day! This Airbnb in Kościelisko is hands down the most beautiful property I’ve ever seen. From the breathtaking mountain views to the cozy, elegant interior, every detail felt like a dream. The atmosphere was peaceful and romantic, making it the ideal escape from the world. Waking up to the snow-capped peaks was pure magic. The host was wonderful, ensuring everything was perfect. If you're looking for a place that feels like a fairytale, this is it! The apartments in a very beautiful area, through the windows there were mountains that were stunning. Very good location of the apartment. The apartment was clean, tidy, all kitchen utensils could be found in the kitchen. I recommend it.

Really enjoyable stay. We loved the location and there were a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. Easy to find, and easy to drive around to nearby towns and the mountains. If we come back to Slovakia again we will try to stay here.

Loved our stay here! Had a car and did hikes each day and this place was amazing to come home too at the end of the day.

This is my first airbnb booking in slovakia and I was a little hesitant at first. I didn't need to be Lucia is very responsive and very helpful. we arrived at a time we arranged.she gave us a tour and our excitement grew from room to room. the cottage is fantastic with a real old, warm and cosy feel. the fireplace. outdoor barbecue, tennis court and swimming pool were awesome. there is a small shop nearby which sells small snacks, a kids park about 30 seconds from the front door and woods immediately behind the property for nice woods nature walks. we travelled with a lot of young kids (from 1 to 8 years old) and they didn't have a minutes boredom in the whole stay. very reluctant to leave what was a cottage full of memories made. thanks Lucia, I'm sure we will be visiting again 👍

Wonderful place to spend time with your loved ones, peace and quiet. We stayed in the cottage for a week and we had everything that we needed.. outside jacuzzi and tumble dryer at home was a cherry on the top ! Would definitely recommend... clean and well equipped house. Great restaurants nearby, ski lifts and thermal pools.

We had a short but sweet stay! I would highly recommend this property for larger families. Everything was pristine. The accommodation is light, modern and very spacious. The views of the mountains from the villa are something spectacular. The location itself is a close drive to many ski slopes and to the mountains for anyone who likes hiking. We really enjoyed our stay at the villa absolutely love the place it had everything we needed nice clean place only think is the tv has english movies did not bother me as I had my laptop connected but yeah everything was spot on extremely recommend this place Thanks Suzi
