Stayed with a bigger group, so plenty of space to hang out together, or separately if needed. Beautiful yard for pets and very close to the beach and shops. Would definitely come back!

If you’ve got pets and/or children it is a great option. The space feels very homely and liveable. It doesn’t feel like you’re on egg shells worried if the kids were to make a mess as all floors as floating floor. Close to cafè’s, little shops and entrance to diamond beach, We really liked it and found it a perfect stay for the week.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras and the birthdays of our dear friends in a tranquil and picturesque setting. The property was exceptional, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and engaging activities. A particular highlight was the opportunity for a two-year-old in our group to feed the animals, adding a unique and memorable experience to our stay. Lucille was incredibly friendly, ensuring open and clear communication throughout our visit. She went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and well taken care of. A beautiful house in peaceful and stunning surroundings with lots of great wildlife to spot. Wonderful verandah to enjoy the view whilst eating and relaxing. Great space for the dog and the kids (10 & 12) loved putting the crab pots out and fishing on the lake. Matthew was a great host, very responsive and the house folder had so much information about restaurants and places of interest to visit of which we did many. A great family holiday! We will definitely be back!

This is a great house. We spent a week there with our adult children and their partners and it was perfect. Lots of space and a gorgeous location looking out over Smith's Lake. The house was clean and well set up with everything you could want. When there were a couple of minor issues during our stay, Alex was extremely responsive and efficient in sorting them out. The path down to the house is very steep, as the listing says, so that might be an issue for people with limited mobility. Otherwise, I have no hesitation in recommending this house.

Lottie and Ian have created such a wonderful place, a home away from home, that you’d want to return in a heartbeat. Everything you need, and more, are available in this private space which is so very comfortable. Even the doggos are looked after with blankets, treats, poop bag and bowl. Lottie has thought of every single item in each space of Petite Maison. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay which was exactly what we needed. Thank you Lottie and Ian, we will certainly be back!
