Terrific home cinema and sound system. Great quality cookware and kitchen island. Amazing location — wonderful view of Lake Macquarie from balcony, dining room and bedroom. Perfect for our family of four. House is really well set up with board games, bunk beds, kayaks, and fishing gear. We’ll be back : )

Property was immaculate with ample amounts of towels available. The property was tastefully styled with basics such as pool towels, tissues, toiletries and cooking utensils available. Each room had a wireless phone charger and the space was very welcoming. Mandy was incredibly prompt to reply to all communications and we look forward to staying here again the same time next year.

We are coming back to Helen place for 4 years now. It feels our second home located in the middle of the paradise

We loved out week-long stay at the multi-level home that looks out over Lake Macquarie. The huge windows mean that you can see out in to the treetops and beyond to the lake from wherever you are in the house. Loved the coffee machine and the big kitchen. Every morning the kookaburras would wake us up with a brief greeting.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The area is wonderful and has a lot to offer. For people like us, who love the nature Jess's place was the jackpot. It was amazing to have kayaks for our use, we had a lot of fun exploring the lake. Place was quiet and Jess was very accomodaiting to our requests.

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's place and can't reccommend it high enough. Anna was super helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. The house has great internet connection and wifi and really does look as good as the pictures suggest. Check-in and out were seamless and Anna was always on-hand to answer any questions we had. I really can't rate this place high enough, will absolutely look forward to staying here again!

Lovely location and house, with lots of room to relax and hang out. The house and garden was clean, spacious and ideal for kids with lots of places to play. Only small downsides is that check in was at 3pm and check out was 9am and there were limited amenities (ie dishwashing liquid, washing powder) which meant we had to stock up and rush out on the last day. Overall a lovely trip though and nice place to stay

Mia’s place is such a heave to live in with all the nice and friendly facilities around . The room is much nicer than the photos 🥰🥰 will definitely come back again next time 🏖️🏖️

We needed somewhere to stay on our way back from sydney due to cyclone in QLD, jae was responsive and easy to communicate with. He akllowed our check in to be earlier and our check out to be at 12pm so very hospitable, the only thing is the fan in the kids room is way too close to the bunk and a little dangerous for little ones but apart from that it was comfy.

we had a great stay at Elizabeth beach. The house is beautiful and well equipped. we stayed with two families with young babies. Rebecca was very responsive and accommodating for us. The house is central in the area but other than the Recky down the hill everything is a short drive away. Great "hideaway" for a long weekend or week away from Sydney. Thank you Rebecca!

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

★★★★★ Absolutely fantastic lake house! The private jetty was perfect for teaching our little ones to fish, while the included kayaks and paddle board provided endless entertainment. Despite being close to amenities, we never left the property - a first for us! There was so much to do right at the house. The location is ideal and the setup is perfect for large family groups with children. Everyone had space to enjoy water activities or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. This lake house offered everything we needed for a memorable family getaway. We created lasting memories without ever needing to venture elsewhere - truly a perfect lakeside retreat!

Ann and Mitch’s farm stay was the perfect place for my kids and I to stop, relax and enjoy on our drive down from Byron to Syd. The place was beautiful, spotless and comfortable. My kids had an absolute ball swimming in the pool and playing with all the animals.. didn’t want to leave! Cannot recommend this place enough, Ann is the perfect host, so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you, we will definitely be back!!! Dee and the kids. Xxx

The house was absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location, just like the photos. The place was well equipped with most amenities, and very clean. We had a fantastic time on the lake with the kayaks provided. Our only issue was with the air conditioning as there is only one AC unit in the living room. We had a hard time staying cool as it is also the middle of summer. Overall we throughly enjoyed staying at the property and would love to visit again a different time of year.
