Smithy’s Lake House is a special place that’s calming from the moment you arrive - right on the lake with windows running the full length across the back deck. Could look at that view for days. Our family with 2 teens loved the 2 seperate living spaces with huge couches for movies or reading, the kayaks ready to go on lakes edge, table tennis, fire pit and all the games. Proximity to explore Blueys/Boomerang/Forster was also fab for day trips. Thanks Josh and Juliette for a house that ticks every box and sharing it with others.

Mia’s place is such a heave to live in with all the nice and friendly facilities around . The room is much nicer than the photos 🥰🥰 will definitely come back again next time 🏖️🏖️

The house and the location are perfect for a family wanting to be on the lake doing water sports. The house itself is well set up and view is very special. Kate the host was friendly and easy to deal with. My family and I will definitely be booking again.

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

The photo’s you see in Liz’s listing does not do this place any justice. If you are wanting time away from busy life and just want to relax this is your place. It is so beautiful up there you just do t want to come home. This was my first stay with Liz and I will be doing plenty more. My daughter loved it. Liz is very helpful and accommodating.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Jalis Farm Stay! From the moment we arrived, Ann and Mik made us feel incredibly welcome. They are genuinely kind and friendly hosts, and their warm hospitality really made our stay special. One of the highlights for us was spending time with their lovely dogs — they’re so friendly and playful, and it added such a fun and homely touch to our visit. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with a fantastic bar area that’s perfect for relaxing. Ann even generously offered us a big bag full of fresh oranges, which was such a great gesture and really appreciated. This is a perfect getaway spot for both families and couples. The atmosphere is peaceful, the surroundings are stunning, and the overall vibe is just so relaxing. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — I’d definitely come back with my family whenever I get the chance. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated how responsive and accomodating Mike was during our stay. He made sure all our needs were met and rectified any issues we had. Instructions were clear and the place was beautiful with plenty of activities to do. My family and I made great memories during our short Easter getaway here.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The area is wonderful and has a lot to offer. For people like us, who love the nature Jess's place was the jackpot. It was amazing to have kayaks for our use, we had a lot of fun exploring the lake. Place was quiet and Jess was very accomodaiting to our requests.

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

we had a great stay at Elizabeth beach. The house is beautiful and well equipped. we stayed with two families with young babies. Rebecca was very responsive and accommodating for us. The house is central in the area but other than the Recky down the hill everything is a short drive away. Great "hideaway" for a long weekend or week away from Sydney. Thank you Rebecca!

Kate is a wonderful host who has your holiday and comfort at heart. We stayed here to escape cyclone Alfred and immediately found the place peaceful and safe. The surroundings are like nothing else we’ve ever experienced. I 100 percent recommend staying here. You will not regret a moment.

Such a beautiful spot for a girls getaway! Went for my 19th birthday with some of my gfs and it was incredible, location was BETTER than what the pictures showed. So clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The whole time me and my gfs were saying how this is gonna be our go to getaway spot! If you have a boat, this place is awesome. Launch your boat from the public ramp driven the river, drive it up and park it at your house for the week. Easy access to Wallis Lake area. Channel is 2-3m deep all the way to the house. Every morning just walk out and start your boat and enjoy the water, no hard decisions if weather looks variable. The house easily caters for 3 families with kids, this is what we had. Parents each had their own room, and the kids bunked in together. Large screen TV was great for watch sport or movies together. Kids enjoyed learning how to play pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. The house is newly refurbished in the bedrooms and living areas and was a pleasure to stay in.

I just got back from a weekend away with some friends staying in Kylie's Bali inspired house in Smiths Lake. We had such a great time and loved the property. The decor was unique and stylish, open plan yet cosy, the wood burner got used both nights as we spent most of our time cooking and socialising in the kitchen/dining area. Kylie was super responsive and flexible and even messaged us with some local recommendations. We would love to come back and stay again. Thanks again!

Sally is an excellent host and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The location near the lake is just perfect and the accommodation was so peaceful, quiet and restful.

We had a lovely stay. It was very clean and a short walk to the sea. Hoped it was really pet frindly as you cannot bring your dog inside the house.

Danny's AirBnB is beautiful, would highly recommend. It's very spacious for the 6 of us (can fit up to 8 comfortably). The kitchen is well-stocked, lots of space for our group to hangout and enjoy ourselves. Would highly recommend this place! Also, great value for location and amenities. We especially loved the fully stocked kitchen, which allowed us to make a ton of fun group meals.

My hubby and 2 dogs absolutely enjoyed our stay! Such a beautiful view of the Karuah river. The kitchen is fully equipped and we love the large fenced yard for our dogs. ❤️
