Monthly Rentals in Smiths Grove

My family and I came into Smiths Grove to visit Mammoth Cave. We really didn't expect much of the town, but it was a really neat place. Quiet little town just outside of Bowling Green and about 15 minutes from Mammoth Cave. Grammie's Home Cookin' is literally steps from the front door. My wife and daughters had fun at the antique stores near by and we drove into Bowling Green for a nice dinner. I would definitely recommend Stuart's place, it was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Fun Fact: If you're a horror movie fan, you'll know that Michael Myers in Halloween escaped from Smith Grove Sanitarium and John Carpenter named that Sanitarium after this town. Pretty cool.

Exactly what we were looking for - peaceful and out of the way, but close enough to towns and hiking trails that it didn't feel like a burden to drive to wherever we needed to go. Michelle was a great host, responsive to any questions, and checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the little touches in the house, like toiletries we may have forgotten in the bathroom and condiments in the fridge. The house itself was well-maintained and well-stocked with everything we needed for the week, especially considering that we planned on eating in for most meals. We would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for some place quiet but convenient to Mammoth Cave National Park.

This place made our family feel right at home. Great vibes! We received cookies and cookies after upon arrival. So sweet! She gave us great recommendations for their local distilleries, winery, and reminded me to book tickets to mammoth NP. The home was super clean and spacious. Our kids loved it. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the memories and beautiful hospitality.
