Cumfrey Yurt at Fairy Bell Wood

KimberleyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
It was mine and my partner’s first weekend away together and this place was absolutely amazing!! Such a lovely little yurt on a beautiful bit of land. The surrounding woods were a joy to explore and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our stay. Check-in was so easy and I really appreciated the privacy we were given our entire stay. The inside was so much better than the pictures, loved the flowers and note Emily left for us. It’s the little things that made us feel really welcome and we can’t thank them enough!! We were a bit on the fence about the shower and toilet situation but it ended up being better than we expected so if you’re debating whether it’s a dealbreaker, just go for it! It’s a place we’d love to return to one day and hopefully we’ll be able to! Thanks again to such wonderful hosts!!

Flat in Orton

JeanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I loved the history of the house! Am from Australia, so don't get that experience at home. was only there for 2 nights, took a trip on Lake Windemere, sat on the steps in front of the fountain at Orton Hall 2nd evening, listened to some classical cello, drank a glass of red (big one), watched the rabbits & really enjoyed my walk around the grounds the next morning. I'd stay again. It was an experience, not just accommodation.

Rural retreat with spectacular Swaledale views

AlisonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Far End, it's in a perfect peaceful location with outstanding views over the moors. It is a bird watchers paradise with binoculars provided in the house. Pat was very helpful with directions and left excellent tips and information in the house. He went the extra mile when I left something behind and posted it back. We enjoyed the fabulous views from the lounge and bedroom.

The perfect escape. Located in a lovely little village, beautifully decorated home with all amenities, and a gorgeous garden the dogs loved lazing in all day. The ideal stay for peace and relaxation. We were very sad to leave, but look forward to planning our next visit 😊

Baugh Fell View near Hawes, the Dales

FionaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We would definitely recommend Baugh Fell. We stayed as a family of 4 with teenagers . Had some precious family time with no distractions! The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated and designed to a high standard. Oh and the welcome pack was amazing! Close to the train station and only 10 mins in the car to Hawes for shops, cafes etc. We drove to the 3 peaks which took about 30mins so fab location to explore the Yorkshore Dale's. We will definitely return and stay here again. Thank you for a fab, stress free stay. Fiona, Andy, Emily & Mathew

The Troutery@Bessy Beck

PrashanthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Shelly was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The house was easy to find, though Apple Maps led us slightly past the location. She greeted us kindly and had thoughtfully left cookies, coffee, tea, and other essentials, which was a lovely touch. The place was spotless, and the bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo and conditioner (though a body wash would’ve been a nice addition). Shelly and her husband were both friendly and genuine, and their two lovely dogs added to the charm of the stay. The cleaning fee felt a bit on the higher side, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from how great the experience was. Highly recommended!

Atelier an enchanting French studio

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Atelier! It was a great spot for exploring Kendal and the surrounding area and Emma gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need. The homemade brownies and rhubarb gin were delicious! Highly recommend staying here if in the lakes.
