Spent a week in a cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was exactly the reset I needed. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—waking up to the sound of birds and falling asleep under the stars felt like a dream. The cabin itself was warm, clean, and had all the essentials. Whether we were sitting by the fire, going on nearby hikes, or just enjoying the view on the porch, every moment felt grounding. No traffic, no stress—just stillness. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and recharge. Can’t wait to go back.

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. We had a lovely overnight stay at this house — everything looked just like the pictures, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Check-in was super easy, and Alena was always quick to respond, which made the experience even smoother. We got to enjoy the jacuzzi in the evening, and had a peaceful breakfast on the back porch in the morning. Overall, everything was clean, beautiful, and met our expectations. Thank you to the host for the warm welcome and for providing such a cozy place to relax!

My husband and I needed some time to re-bond and boy did this place and Tom & Carol deliver. The best airbnb we've ever stayed in, very romantic, beautiful, and inspiring. They put so much love and detail into the place, it went above and beyond in terms of amenities (they had everything we needed plus so much more). I had brought a lasagna that was too big to heat in their airfryer, so they offered to put it in their oven to heat up - which was lovely of them. Honestly this place and the hosts exceeded our expectations in every way. Tom & Carol gave us a personal tour of their beautiful property, gallery and house and all of Tom's artwork - which is everywhere. Tom is so talented and answered our many, many questions. They were super welcoming to my dog as well, and our dogs even played together! My only complaint w/tongue in cheek: Tom doesn't sell his work any longer as he's building a sculpture garden and museum - I get that, but it was hard to not buy some of his incredible work.

Olga's beautiful modern house in Upstate New York is a real gem nestled near a wild forest. The spacious house offers plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day exploring the area. The location offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure, with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Olga was a fantastic host – incredibly responsive and flexible, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself is stunning, with modern amenities and stylish decor. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this Airbnb!

Jessica's restored barn is amazing and one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The photos don't do it justice! The barn is unique and has the most incredible views! The sunset experience is A++, and the deck is the most serene place to have your morning coffee. The most impressive part is how clean the space is- I'm not sure how she does it! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from a popcorn maker to a vitamix. There are spaces to sit, relax and nap in every corner of the house. It is immaculate, thoughtful, peaceful and comfortable. Bonus- if you love music, there is an insanely good CD & record collection. Jessica was so responsive to any of our outreach and we will 100% be back. *10/10 would recommend, this place is a total find!!

Steven was very responsive to any questions we had. The place was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was well maintained. The kayaks were fun. The outdoor area was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for regarding privacy. All amenities were as described.

The house was great! Cool setup, nice outdoor space, felt secluded and away from the road. Couldn’t really ask for much more for what we were looking for! Hosts were also very responsive in answering any questions. Would come back again!

The Hideout was such an amazing place to stay and the A Frame was exactly what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed and Samantha was very communicative the whole time. A perfect weekend with the toddler and the dog!

This A-frame escape was exactly what I needed — the perfect break from the city. The place is beautifully designed, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches. The jacuzzi was absolutely incredible, especially under the stars at night, and the A-frame structure made the whole stay feel like a peaceful retreat.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Richard was extremely responsive and made everything so easy for us. He even recommended the amazing Ice Caves for our hike and it did not disappoint! Even though it rained a lot, we were still able to get use out of the hot tub and the pool on our last day. The water is soooo stinky though (as advertised) - a little hard to get used to but indeed great for your skin and hair.

The teahouse and surroundings were relaxing and peaceful. We saw groundhogs, deer, and chipmunks from the porch and our 2 dogs loved exploring the field and wandering in the nearby woods. The pool was amazing and warm despite the rain and the natural landscaping couldn’t have been more beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a great stay at Eugene’s place! The house was perfect for our group — spacious, comfortable, and full of fun things to do. We especially loved the private theatre, the hot tub, and especially the sauna — such a great touch! The volleyball net was a hit, and there were tons of games in the closet that kept us entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked and roomy enough for us to cook meals for our large group, and there were plenty of different areas to hang out in, everyone could find their own space to relax. The towels were plentiful (huge plus) and having access to the washer and dryer came in handy during our stay. Eugene was a fantastic host — super friendly, very responsive, and just really helpful all around. We also got to enjoy a few deer sightings right in the yard, which felt magical. We visited the nearby alpaca farm and did the Beer Mountain hike, which was a nice outing. All in all, a wonderful stay. Would absolutely come back. Thank you Eugene!

Great stay for my family of four and dog at this property on a beautiful part of the lake! Michael was super responsive at all times. House had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely home with a gorgeous view. Loved kayaking on the lake. At times no one else was there! Very peaceful!

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. My pup and I enjoy our stay and Mirelle was a fantastic host. We loved hanging out on the deck and the fenced in backyard. Highly recommend checking out the forest reserve, which is super close. The waterfalls were so lovely! And just 10 minutes away is Bethal Woods Center for the Arts. This is a great spot if you're coming to see a show. I really enjoyed the Woodstock Festival Museum there.

Amie is a fantastic host. We had a nice stay at her place. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, but the clutter made it a bit difficult for our family of 4 to move around. Though the kids loved the bunk beds and Amie is very accommodating, this space may be more comfortable for just 2 adults. Thank you very much for hosting us Amie!!

This house is perfect for a nice, small, and quiet getaway. The house is spotless, with cleaning supplies available to use throughout your stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, cookware, supplies, and spices. They had everything you need to make full meals and more! The beds were very clean and comfortable with a great amount of sheets and blankets. The downstairs had a wonderful playroom and TV that is great for group getaway or children. This was overall a great stay and definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place for vacation!

If I had a cabin as a second home this would be it! End of the road, secluded, picture perfect cabin. Very tastefully decorated and has the charm of a home that’s been there many years. We stayed here after a show at Bethel Woods and it was super close.

Christopher and Erik’s Airbnb is in a quiet and beautiful location! We loved walking around the neighborhood and seeing deer everywhere. The Forest Reserve at Smallwood was beautiful and had a dog park, which was great for our pups. The location is 20ish/30ish minutes away from several cute towns too! We fell in love with this area!
