Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sleepy Hollow Lake, Greene County, New York

We loved our stay in Hudson. We were a quick drive into town and it was easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well here. We used the pack n play for our youngest and the kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. It isn’t fully fenced in, but there is a fence blocking the backyard from the road, so my kids were always safe. There weren’t a ton of dishes available, that was the only downside we found.

We had a great time at the Zen Cottage! It was an amazing getaway with beautiful scenery all around! Alma and James were very responsive and helpful with recommendations around the town. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. We can't wait to be back!

Erin’s place was absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed the location - so peaceful and conveniently close to Art Omi. The cabin was beautifully maintained, and we especially loved the interior design, which felt both stylish and cozy. We stayed for two nights but honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin's place. As many others have said, the surroundings are even more beautiful in person. There is another rental unit right across the yard, which we didn't realize, but ultimately we found it nice knowing there were other people around. The kitchen and bathroom(s) were notably gorgeous and comfortable - though we didn't cook, I've never seen a better stocked kitchen in terms of cooking tools at an Airbnb. A spacious and peaceful retreat.

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We spent the weekend in the area and Tim’s place was fantastic. It’s loaded with charm, comfortable and very well appointed and stocked (right down to treats for the dog). The location is beautiful and the views are amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Lawrence and Ilze are great hosts! They actually just live next to the house and they own a farm. We took our kid to visit their farms with lots of beautiful chickens and roosters. My son even has a chance to feed the chickens. We will definitely come back!

Adrian’s place was absolutely lovely. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and easy to relax into. The new “hedge” separating the driveway and the side yard is lovely. Having nature all around is gorgeous and restorative. We’ll definitely return!

This is our fifth year coming to the farm. Larissa is absolutely masterful with kids of all ages (even tough kids). My daughter races out at 9 am to do farm chores and begs for more (and this is a kid who drags her feet doing chores at home)!! We love the rhythm of farm and find it really easy to disconnect and unwind. After chores in the morning, you're welcome to spend as much time as you want with the animals, which is a real treat. Whether it's feeding the horses hay, sharing food scraps with the goats, or watching the chickens do their evening routine, there's so much to enjoy. The local towns are lovely, but if you like the farm experience, you may never leave the property. Larissa is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing her experience and expertise. She has created an absolutely magical environment, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Great place in the heart of Hudson - very comfortable! Would definitely recommend.

Ivy on the Stone is a gem. We will definitely return. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom large and there is even a large screened porch for relaxing on comfy chairs, a sofa as well as a table for eating. Area restaurants are great, walkable to coffee shops and a large bakery in addition to a charming downtown with boutiques etc. Katherine is extremely attentive and we plan to return. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My wife, dog, and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Michael's place. The land is beautiful, the place itself is actually even nicer than the pictures, and there is plenty to do in the area. We will definitely be coming back!

We spent a weekend at Roy's place and had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spotless and located right in the heart of Hudson. Our host Reta was very kind and always prompt in her communication and consideration. At one point there was a small leak to which we were quickly notified. It was repaired before we'd even noticed and we were additionally left with a thoughtful card and delicious muffins. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a large and perfectly situated stay in Hudson.

Teneya’s place was clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Walking distance to the village of Catskill and a short drive from Kaaterskill Falls, which was the highlight of our trip! Teneya was quick to respond to our requests and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

cute house and wonderful weekend

The AK Lodge was perfect for our multi family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Having private bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Justyna was very responsive and always answered any questions within minutes. We will defiantly be back.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Beautiful home, great location and friendly host. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, games room was an added bonus.

This place is incredible. There are so many places for small group conversations and hangout time. It felt like being in two houses. Bedrooms are lovely and varied, kitchen is well stocked. Lighting is soft and plentiful, with lots of natural light during the day. We loved spending time around the fireplace and out on the deck. Thank you for creating such a wonderful property!!

Just a short walk from hikes, and local cafes, we were able to enjoy lazy mornings by the and evenings exploring the charming neighborhood. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations for activities and dining spots nearby. We truly felt like we were staying with friends rather than in a rental property. Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations. Alexander’s place is as described and look like the pictures. We stayed for one week end with friends to enjoy one day skiing and it was great! We had some trouble making the sauna and pool work at the beginning but Alexander sent someone to help quickly which was much appreciated 3’ drive from the slopes of Hunter and enough space to comfortably fit 12 people Would definitely recommend for a week end between friends or a big family reunion Thank you!
