Contemporary loft. Ideal for the Lake District

Lovely, spacious and light property with all the mod cons! It was so peaceful we didn't turn the TV on once. Really lovely decoration and clever use of the space, close to plenty of walks and all in all a lovely stay, thank you Erika.

The Garden Cottage at Scalebeck

Absolutely beautiful place to stay: from the lovely cottage, with a super comfy bed, to the amazing grounds and the added bonus of a game room! Kay was great and very quick to respond to any messages while at the same time really respectful of our privacy. Really dog friendly with even a doggie goody bag on arrival! Brilliant base camp to explore the yorkshire dales and the lake district and we even saw lots of red squirrels in the garden from our sofa which was fantastic. Thank you Kay we had an amazing time staying at your lovely place.

Cosy Accommodation at Mill Cottage Bunkhouse!

GarethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was an absolute joy to stay here. When we arrived, we were left to get on with it ourselves which is SO welcomed! We met Sarah in the morning whilst taking our dog out and Sarah just happened to be out with her dog too. It was really lovely meeting her and her two dogs! The area is remote, beautiful, rugged and picturesque. The continuous flow of gentle water was really peaceful. It was our first time in The Pennines and we could not have landed in a better place to stay! Thanks Sarah! Gareth, Millie and Beaubeau.

Miller's Rest

This is a perfect base for exploring the Lake district for a couple of days. A real "home away from home" feeling whilst also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. The area is peaceful and even as close as a 5 minute walk away, the surroundings are stunning. Claire and Dave are friendly, approachable and welcoming hosts, even preparing a couple of scones on arrival (which I scoffed immediately after a day in the mountains).

Beautiful, quaint, cosy shepherds hut. Perfect place to get away and relax or use as a base to see the highlights of north England. Lakes district, Pennines and Yorkshire dales all easily accessible and within an hours drive. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Hilltop Lodge (wildlife abundant), Colby, Appleby.

The Lodge was exactly as described with everything I needed. It was located in a lovely and peaceful part of the country, which was within their grounds. The lodge was closer to their home than I thought but this wasn't an issue for me at all. The enclosed garden space was a bonus and my dog loved it! The cake was a lovely touch too. The local town wasn't too far away and pubs were dog friendly which was great. A lovely relaxing break.
