Enjoy the simple life and find the tranquility of the forest at Bakkanestua in Siljan. Older cabin with soul in peaceful surroundings, without electricity and water. Gas stove and gas fridge with small freezer. Hand dishwashing with water from the creek (heated on fireplace). Wood, candles and toilet paper are available in the cabin. Double bed/loft with a small double bed. Bring your own towels and bed linen, but if you come to Norgesferie without them, we have drinking water/water for cooking. Arrival by car/key to the road barrier. Parking at the cabin.

Our home in Ulefoss is architecturally designed to frame the forest and the largest lake of the Telemark Canal, Norsjø. The house is 100 m2 with 2 bedrooms, alcove with 4 beds (playroom), kitchen, 2 living rooms, bathroom with steam shower and undisturbed terrace. Possibility of canoe rental. Torsnes beach and guest jetty within walking/cycling distance. Other; Sommarland in Bø (Norway's largest water park), Norsjø Golfpark and Gullbringbadet are short away, and affordable to use. Feel free to ask the host if you would like to borrow a canoe.

Perfect starting point for an active cabin getaway, with great hiking opportunities nearby, cross-country skiing trails in winter, and swimming, kayaking, and boating in summer. The cabin has 2 bathrooms and a new, well-equipped open-plan kitchen with a living area. Only about 20 minutes to the Høyt & Lavt Vestfold climbing park.

There is great hiking terrain, canoe, sup board, fishing opportunities and about 100 meters to private swimming area/beach. Hot hot tub by the water can be ordered. By car; 20 min to Skien, Porsgrunn and Bamble, 50 min to Gautefall. 60 min to Bø. If there are many of you, it is possible to also book the cabin next door, which is also listed on Airbnb.
