All the "bedrooms" are on the 2nd floor and are dense, so if someone snores in one of the rooms, you don't get away 😅 All "rooms" have 4 beds or more, there are no rooms you can lie alone in if you are actually 16 people. Stamp and sauna worked great! There is a very small water heater that is a small minus when you are many and also has amenities that require a shower a little more often than just hygiene. Was a lot of showering in cold water 😅 Kitchen is small, so it was also a challenging when to cook many and required more hands. The host was very nice and the cabin was cozy and nice with large windows that created an open room feeling 😊

Perfect place to stay if you have anything you want to experience in Skien. Close to everything you need. Very clean everywhere. Tidy and neat. Cozy, peaceful neighborhood, quiet neighbors. Lovely with own porch. Good communication with the landlord. Would love to come back.

Wow. I can not express how wonderful our experience was over new year at Berit's beautiful cabin. The memories for myself and my family will last a lifetime. The cabin itself is cosy, warm, with simply amazing views. The beds are comfy and there is everything you need. Berit is a wonderful host - so incredibly friendly and responsive. She left some toys for our two year old that were so appreciated and he loved them. My children had so much fun playing in deep snow on the hill. The stroke of midnight was a treat to behold as the neighbouring farms set off fireworks in the snow. What a wonderful holiday. I can not thank Berit enough.

This is the 2nd time we're staying with Megan. Great views overlooking the small marina, very nice terrace were you can enjoy the sun. The cabin is very clean and is privately situated, with no neighbors. Plenty of room for 6 people, comfortable beds and lots of storage space. Short distance to Meny for groceries and 10 min to the center of Porsgrunn. We'll definitively be back!

Great summer house for two families with 5 little ones, aged between 1 and 5. Very well equipped kitchen for the big and toys/activities for the little ones. A super garden and "crawl distance" to the swimming beach. Very good communication and instructions from the host.

Josephine and Marius are great hosts and the house as the location is amazing. Great amenities, modern and beautiful style, very clean and plenty of storage space everywhere. Questions were always helped quickly. We highly recommend the house and the two hosts and felt very much at home. If we come to southern Norway again, we would like to be your guests again. Very nicely furnished cottage, everything clean and cozy, communication with the landlords was always very friendly, fast and straightforward. Check-in and check-out super easy. Bathing beach within a five-minute walk.

We were 14 people between the ages of 10 and 75, at family reunions. There was plenty of space both outside and inside, cozy and old-fashioned. The hosts were nice and helpful, took the time to show us the sheep. Everyone in the party had a good time and was very happy with this stay, including the young people. There is a lot to see and do in this area, not least Sommarland in Bø. We gladly came back!

Family of 7 (2 adults and 5 children aged 9-14) who lived in the house on a sunny summer week. 🌞 Spacious and well-maintained home in well-established and peaceful neighborhood. Large and nice outdoor area with many sun hours 🌞 Cozy nature adjacent to the garden. We were visited by a great deer w/calf in the morning 🦌 Well-equipped kitchen with everything you might need. The smallest kids had a good time in the pool. We recommend the place to Ståle and Elin to anyone who wants a quiet and nice place for both adults and children 👌

Very great house with large garden on the steep slope of a beautiful and tranquil village. With ferries, the surrounding islands can be reached in minutes, a tour is highly recommended. The living area is very nicely designed, the kitchen is great, spacious and everything you need is available. Via the large bridge directly hintrem house you can find many shopping opportunities within walking distance. Car traffic is perceptible but not disturbing. We would love to come back.
