Holiday home Ejby Ådal

Delicious summerhouse of 138 m2. Divided into large living room, lovely HTH kitchen/dining room, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, bedroom, cozy alcove, utility room and annex with double bed. Lovely wooden terrace around the house so the sun can be enjoyed from morning to evening. Wood pellet stove/heat pump. Nice garden that is closed off well with lovely cherry laurel hedge. Short walk through Ejby Ådal itself to the Isefjord. 800 meters to the water edge, where there is a bathing jetty. We settle electricity usage separately. Water consumption is inclusive.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the frame for a truly wonderful place. The house was named winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful Summerhouse at DR1 (2014). The well appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 meters to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for the family with 2-3 children. Year-round, you can bathe in the “Svenskerhull” ml. Roneklint and the small nice island of Maderne, owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is made for beautiful walks – and bike rides.

Home on a nature plot

Stay in the countryside in our wooden house of 140 m ². The house has three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds, which can be merged into a double bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room that can be used as needed. Feel free to enjoy our large garden of 15,500 m ² with many cozy nooks and a fire pit. We have 15 hens and a rooster that adds to the rural feel. The house is on one level and has a large, bright living room and a rural kitchen. We live in a former summerhouse on the property.

Cozy little apartment (annex) with its own entrance and exit to garden with barbecue and garden furniture. The apartment: a bedroom with 2 really good box- mattresses, which serve as a double bed or single beds. Both winter and summer duvets are extra long. Combi living room/kitchen, hallway and small bathroom with walk-in shower. There is private guest parking and bicycles available. Close to lovely Kattegat with beach access from the landowner's beach grounds. Note: due to dog allergy no pets. Sorry.

(+ use = DKK 3.50 per kWh) The summerhouse is located in a valley at the end of a side road and is withdrawn from the road. On the terrace there is a barbecue option and in the garden a fire pit. It is 200 meters from the cottage overlooking the Isefjord. Dining benches are set up by the water with fjord views and should you want to take a dip, a bathing jetty is set up by the beach in the summer. The cottage is located 10 minutes to the nearest shopping and 45 minutes by car to Copenhagen.

The house is located 300 meters from coast line and in wonderful nature surroundings and with a small sandy beach. Frederikssund city is a 20 minutes walk and bus services are also available. The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
