The apartment includes a living room with kitchen and dining area, bedroom, bathroom and the most beautiful southwest facing terrace. We have taken care of the details in the apartment so that it can form the framework for lovely days in Aarhus and on Aarhus Island. The area has plenty of restaurants, takeaways, forest, beach and city within walking distance. There is a parking basement in the house.

The apartment is located on the lower floor of our house and some noise from the family is to be expected. By appointment, we may use the washing machine in your bathroom when you are on a trip to town. In addition, you have the apartment to yourselves.

You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day trip in nature.

The loft has a beautiful view, especially in the evening where you can look at beautiful sunsets and stars. There are 2 mattresses on the loft, and the possibility of a third. There is a sofa bed in the living room that sleeps two people. It is possible to borrow an air mattress and travel bed, just write. NOTE: there is NO Wi-Fi coverage.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Velkommen hjem! Lejligheden ligger i "Isbjerget", her bor du tæt på centrum (5 min i bil/1,5 km) af den jyske hovedstad Aarhus – populært betegnet som verdens mindste storby. I Aarhus finder du både spændende shopping-muligheder og kulturtilbud af enhver art. Lejligheden er 80kvm med et meget smukt lysindfald. Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
