Farmstay vacation rentals in Skagerrak

It was all great. The apartment was clean and you sleep very well on the sofa bed. In the morning you are woken up by the sounds of the sheep and the rooster. All in all very pleasant.

The house is so nice, everything was clean and well-organized. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The location is in the middle of nowhere, so you definetely need a car to arrive, but it’s perfect to have a break from big cities. It’s always difficult to find airbnb for a big group of young people, but Per trust us from the beginning and we’re so grateful. He also was always very attentive to our messages, he answered quickly and with clear instructions. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much :)

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

The place was peaceful and really beautiful. Det gamle hønsehus was cozy and had everything I needed. Unfortunately, I only really had time to sleep there since my days were packed with activities. But I really enjoyed my stay and can definitely recommend the place to others. The only thing I missed was a vacuum cleaner – cleaning was a bit tricky with the tools available, especially since I was traveling with dogs.

I was just there for a few nights, bit it is a great accommodation for 1 or 2 persons looking to check out the nice nature and towns on the island Orust. The hosts were nice and i’ve received some great tips. The communication for checking in and out of the accommodation were great as well!

Annika and Jonas were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cottage is lovely and very homely. The hot tub and sauna are great and there was lots to do with the children. We would definitely stay here again.

A really cosy and comfortable home with a lived in feel and a very well equipped kitchen. Extremely comfortable beds and lots of books available. Heidi the host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Easy access to the city via boat or tram and Slottskogen park only a 10-15 minute walk away. Easy access to the ferry to the archipelago. We got the 3 day ticket on the Västtrafik app which is great value.had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

This place is magical! The pictures don't portray it at Annelie and her family's approach. The terrace overlooking the paddock and at night the clear starry sky and an incredible tranquility, just wonderful! A swimming lake that we usually had to ourselves. Canoes and SuPs to borrow, swim by the sea in a few minutes by car and so there are plenty to discover on the island. We were Slussen, Småhalmerna, Hälleviksstrand, Viken, Du dsbyleden, Grundsbyvatten and took walks in the woods and looked for blueberries. We were 7 people and had enough room for everyone. A large game room for the kids, cribs, cribs, high chairs, chickens, horses and rabbits. A fully equipped kitchen with enough space to sit inside and out. We were even riding twice with Annelie and her horses. The kids and I myself were in heaven :) Highly recommend!

We had three wonderful days! Super nice host, beautiful surroundings and very nice house! Over-complete. We will definitely come back!

A nice small cabin next to the owners family homestead. The cabin include a small kitchen with essential appliances, seating area, and bedroom. Outside there is a porch with chairs and a table. Car can be parked right in front of the cabin. Bathroom is located in the owners house but that was not a problem. Overall a good experience and we would visit again.

We had an amazing weekend at the farm. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Kelly and Birger and were lucky enough to witness one of their gorgeous goats giving birth to twins which was incredibly special! The treehouse is nestled in a peaceful, private forest area and is super cosy and well-equipped for a relaxing evening in nature. We had no problems cooking a nice meal on the grill which we enjoyed on the terrace listening to the birds, before heading up to the tree tent where we could feel the trees swaying. The hosts really went above and beyond making sure we enjoyed our stay and got to be apart of the daily life on the farm. We were introduced to all of the goats, miniature horses, donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs and even got to pick our own eggs for breakfast in the morning. This place is a real gem. Can’t wait to come back and see how the goats are getting on!

It was just an amazing stop at Agnes wonderful place. We really enjoyed the calmness and coziness. The kids had also great fun in the outdoor area and the barn. Highly recommend, if you want to take a few days off and relax! Agnes and her husband are wonderful welcoming people!

Great place with plenty of space and everything we needed! The kids had a great time with animals, playground, and lavvo – like coming to another home. Homeowner was easy to contact. We are super happy and would love to come back!

This place was perfect in every way. A great little getaway for a few days, or even longer. The surroundings were amazing and close enough to town in case you wanted to get out. The views are worth it and it was so peaceful and quiet. I can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Cozy accommodation and close to the sea, very satisfied!

We really liked our stay at this place! It is really quiet, but the town centre is within walking distance. We liked how easy it is to get around by bike and would really like to come back an explore the island some more. The house itself has everything you need and was super clean and well-organized. Overall, we had a great time!

This is the second time we have stayed in Holger's beautiful apartment. In the meantime, the apartment has been upgraded in the form of a large roof terrace facing the fjord. Therefore, we could not only enjoy the sight of the fjord from the windows of the apartment, but also enjoy tranquility and the view fully on the terrace. If you love nature and seek tranquility - it's definitely a place for you. The apartment was a fixed base for our hikes in Thy National Park (there are so many hiking routes in the area - we used the app 'National Park Thy' for it). The apartment was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, so we could create both Easter lunch and Easter dinner there. We also visited one of the beautiful nearby churches for Easter worship. Holger is a very warm person and welcoming host. Our warmest recommendations for the place. We'd love to come again.

It was a bit further from the beach than anticipated but other than that, it was a beautiful and serene place.
