Relax in this quiet and elegant new property. The house is under construction and will be ready in early June 2024, so there are only traces of it outside as the interior is not ready until then. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The house is located about 5 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur and is therefore halfway between The black sand beach in Vík and The national park Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón in the east. From the house there is a view of both Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

A two minute walk takes you to a beautiful black sand beach, our property is also walking distance to everything Vik has to offer. From our patio, enjoy watching paragliders descend and Icelandic horses trot by. There are two bedrooms, one with queen sized bed and another with king size bed. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, full bathroom and separate smaller toilet. Private parking for two cars on location.

Just a short 35 km drive from Eldgjá, 70 km drive from Landmannalaugar and 30 km drive from Fjaðrárgljúfur. Nearest grocery stores are in Kirkjubæjarklaustur (30km) and in Vík (45km). Vík is a beautiful town with old houses and a church that stands high above the town, there you may also find a good variety of restaurants.

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.
